The next day when Giotto walked to the dining room, he heard a lot of talking and laughing. He opened the door to see everyone there, except for Alaude. Alane was serving everyone tea "morning Giotto !" G smiled "good morning" Giotto nodded "what's going on ?" He asked "Alane was just serving us tea, a celebration for her first mission" Elena smiled as Giotto went to his seat.

He glanced at Alane, who just place a cup of tea in front of him "I am very thankful, Alane" he smiled "I just wanted to do something nice for my family" Alane explained "would you like another cup, Asari-san ?" She asked Asari "I would like that, Arigatou" Asari smiled.

Alaude soon entered and yawned. He pinched the bridge of his nose "good morning, Alaude" Alane said, Alaude sat down "morning" he replied, she sat next to him "would you like a cup of tea ?" She asked "maybe later" he said "at least, try it please" she lift up the cup "fine" he sighed.

He held her hands to lift up the cup to his mouth. Her eyes slightly widen when he sipped it "hn, it's good" he nodded "how's your arm ?" He asked "it's better, thank you" she rubbed her arm and got up to give him tea.

He noted something different when she sat down "your hair" he pointed. Instead of tying her hair up, she let it down "ah, I didn't have time to tie it" she reached for her hair and he grabbed her wrist "don't, I like it" he smirked, which made her slightly blush.

He let go of her hand and took a sip from the tea cup. She looked away. He noticed that from the corner of his eyes. He placed the cup on the table and faced her by resting his chin on his palm.

Knuckle nudged Asari and nodded at Alaude and Alane. Alane was looking away in embarrassment while Alaude was staring at her "Oi, why are you looking away ?" He said "no reason" she mumbled "how come your embarrassed after what you did yesterday ? At the ball perhaps ? Or maybe when we came back ?" He smirked.

An image of Alane kissing Alaude's cheek came across her mind. She blushed "I-" she faced him and flinched when she saw how close his face was to hers "what's the matter, Alane ?" He smirked "n-nothing" she said "e-excuse me, I need to check something" she got up and left the room. Alaude smirked to himself and sipped his tea.

The rest paled when they spotted Alaude smirking for no reason. Except for Daemon, who was about to fall off his seat from laughing.

Alaude rested his cheek where Alane kissed him on his palm as his smirk dropped. Giotto wanted to ask Alaude about his good mood today, but decided to stay quiet "Alaude ! What's with the good mood to the Extreme !?" Knuckle asked, Giotto sweat dropped.

Before Alaude could replay, Alane came in again with a couple of papers "Giotto, here is a letter, and a couple of paperwork" Alane gave an envelop to Giotto "ah it's from Oliviero, thank you. You can put the papers in my study please" Giotto said, she nodded.

Alane and Alaude glanced at each other and slightly smiled. Alane covered the half of her blushing face with the papers "oh ! Oliviero would like to meet us" Giotto smiled "is Mr.Oliviero a close friend of yours ?" Alane asked "yes, he is" he said "also ! I want to give you something, my dear sister !" He stood up.

He wrapped his around her as he lead her out of the room "Cheee~" he glared at Alaude before leaving, which Alaude didn't notice.

"Why are you giving me this ? Isn't dangerous if I kept it with me ?" Alane stared at the Snow Ring in her hand. Giotto chuckled "I want you to hold it for a while, can you do that ?" He said, she nodded "I'll try my best. Even if it cost my life, I'll die trying" she said.
