"How is she ?" Giotto said "suffering" Alaude said "how bad was it ?" G asked "very" Alaude answered. The Eraca family already retreated and the village was safe, so they searched for Alaude and Alane to find them in the forest.

Alane was still sleeping, Alaude had covered her with his coat in the middle of the night "let's go to Oliviero's mansion, at least until the ladies rest" G said. Alaude was about to go and carry Alane, but Giotto stopped him "I think that's enough for today, we'll handle Alane" he smiled, Alaude glanced over Giotto's shoulder to see Alane being carried by G.

"Alaude~" Alane whispered and clenched on G's shirt. They froze. Giotto and G shot their head toward Alaude, who just looked away to pretend he didn't hear anything "Alaaaaaaaaaauuuddeee~" Giotto said in a dark voice.

"What did you do ?" He said "nothing" Alaude said. When Giotto looked away, Alaude placed his thumb on his lips and smirked "you Handcuff Maniac !!!" G thought.

Once they reached the mansion, they started to ask Alane questions as soon as she woke up "I-I'm alright" Alane said "you got shot on you calf ! Are you sure your alright !?" Knuckle said.

Alane slightly blushed as she winced "A-Alaude helped me with it" she said "and can you please lower your voice ? Alaude is sleeping" she looked at Alaude, who was sleeping next to her. He slowly slid and his head landed on her shoulder "on your shoulder !?" Knuckle pointed at Alaude "he is sleeping because he didn't have any sleep last night, he was looking out for enemies" she explained "no, I'm actually awake" Alaude mumbled.

"You Bastard !!" G yelled. Alaude sat up and yawned, which made G pop a vein "I'll kill you !!" He struggle from Asari and Knuckle's grip.

"Alaude, I need to talk to you for a moment" Giotto said. Alaude got up and followed, but froze when Alane pulled his dress shirt sleeve. He held her hand as he leaned into her face "I'll be right back" he said, she slowly nodded. He let go and left with Giotto.

Since Alaude left her side, Alane felt cold all over the sudden. Elena noticed that and told Alane to follow her. Oliviero led them to a room for them "what's wrong, Alane ? You seem down" Elena asked as they sat across each other on the couch.

Alane stayed silent "it's better to talk about it than to keep it inside" Elena said, Alane couldn't talk "do you not trust me, Alane ?" Elena said "it's not that I do not trust you, it is painful to talk about it" Alane said "you can tell me" Elena smiled.

So Alane decided to tell Elena about he past. Elena felt bad and got up to hug her. Elena patted her head as Alane hugged her back "you are like a sister with wam hugs" Alane mumbled, Elena smiled and stroked her hair.

Once they went to the living room again, they saw G yelling at Oliviero and Asari, who were laughing, Knuckle was trying to calm everyone down, and Daemon was making G even angrier "for the last God Damn time ! My hair is not pink !"

Elena sweat dropped "where's Lampo ?" She asked "h-h-here" Lampo got out from under Knuckle's rope "oh ? You two came back" Asari smiled "are you feeling better now, Alane ?" Oliviero asked Alane as he approached her "h-hm" she nodded.

He chuckled and placed his palm on her cheek "aren't you a cute and innocent lady ?" He smiled "eh ?" They paled from confusion and Alane slightly blushed, not used to be complement "u-um" Alane felt uneasy and confused. She suddenly got pulled away from Oliviero "what do you think your doing ?" Alaude glared as he placed Alane's head on his chest.
