Alec one of his many nick names which the Gallagher boy is called has brown hair with a tint of red to it his eyes green he has a strong muscly build due to working his whole life literally. He knew he was good looking he wouldn't not admit it he was a very visible jawline though he was pale. he was one of the smarter Gallagher's who managed to get a scholarship to become a firefighter while helping to provide for his family while growing up he had learnt spanish and Korean.

Alec sat on the couch waiting for everyone to get home it was a Friday today and fiona was doing the school run only Liam was with him who sat playing on the floor unaware of the battle Alec was currently fighting in his mind he was broken out of his thoughts when the door swung open he looked at all of his family they were either arguing or laughing about something ian and carl were the first to give him a hug where he pulled them down so they sat beside him sitting Liam on his lap as well.

"Okay i have news everyone sit down please." fiona lip and Debbie did as asked and sat down around the nervous looking man.

"I have been offered a new higher paying job-" his family began cheering but stopped when they saw the sad look on his face "Alec whats wrong?" fi asked her older brother.

"The jobs in California." This caused a mix of reactions the younger ones began crying carl gripped onto his brother fiona looked at him in shock and ian and lip looked upset and stressed. "I can always turn it down but it will help us pay bills even though im not here it comes with health insurance i can come see you whenever i can."

Alec was finishing packing the last of his stuff he left tomorrow carl was 'helping' him "Can i come visit soon?" he asked his older brother playing with the new figure he had been bought as a goodbye gift from alec "You can visit in the holidays i will pay to have all my babies come see me." the brunette said picking up the smaller boy squeezing him.

"Were not your babies Alec." Carl laughed. "Yes, you are i raised you taught you how to walk, talk, read and write so did Fiona we did that, so you all remember that when im gone and she's looking after you." Carl nodded as he was placed back on the bed.

"Are you gonna come back al?" "No carl im gonna bring you all to me hopefully get you out of this shit hole get you deb and Liam in a nice school in a nice big house get ian and lip into college when their older i'll give you everything you remember that okay." Carl nodded sitting crisscross on his brother's bed watching him throw his bags on the floor "come on bedtime monkey."
"Can i stay with you?" Alec softly smiled at his brother "Of course should we get debs and Liam as well." the younger boy nodded and ran off to get his older sister.

Alec stood in front of his mirror wearing just blue jeans and a grey t-shirt which showed off his muscles. He just stared at himself was he doing the right thing leaving fiona alone with all the kids could she deal with it all, yes he would still be paying bills and stuff but he wasnt physically there to do school runs, bath times, waking them all up in the morning this is all he had known his whole life and now he was leaving kev and v were down stairs frank had gone off somewhere he didn't really care about frank to be honest he was most likely at Sheila's.

They had already packed all the bags into the taxi and were all saying their goodbyes carl gripped onto his brother refusing to let go as everyone hugged him and said farewell in his book Vee and kev were his family and he would miss them kev and him did their handshake they had made up once when drunk it involved finger guns rock paper scissors some sort of octopus it was confusing to anyone but them. He made sure to hug his siblings once again carl had still not let go "buddy i need to go i'll see you soon and buy you toys and whatever you want." The boys lip trembled "I dont want you to leave."

"Me either bud trust me, but we will have more money for toy nice food, and we can go to a fare like you want okay." the younger boy nodded while fiona pulled him away. "I'll phone or skype everyday feel free to message me whenever i might not reply straight away but message me anyway you too kev vee." he ordered as he climbed into the car.
