Alex stared at the figure which was currently pressed up against glass which could shatter at any moment, and no one wanted that to happen or see it.

"We could set up a bag street-side in case that window gives." The Gallagher man suggested. "Nobody works under that side of the building. Somebody's gonna have to get him from the inside." Bobby orders.

"Buck, you say that's the 11th floor?" Eddie asks the blonde. "I would. I bet we could take the ladder to that fourth floor. Cut the distance in half." Bobby overhears and orders them to do as buck had said which was a first. "Head on up."

"Watch your step, guys. L.A. Fire and Rescue!" Bobby shouts. "Is anybody down here? Hello?" Chimney shouts "Bobby." Alec softly gestures to the body on the ground "Yeah? All right. All right, guys, let's keep going." "L.A. Fire and Rescue." Alec yells into the nothingness.

"Anybody down here?" the brunette yells again. "Right here!" A man's voice replies. "All right, we got a voice over there, guys. Let's go." Bobby orders they all follow from the sound had come from.

They spotted a man in the same uniform helping a woman out. "You need any help?" Bobby asks. "All good. There's a kid maybe 50 feet back. Needs EMTs bad." he told them both hen and alec shared a worried glance "Is it a little girl?" She asks for them both as they begin to pass the other firefighter. "No, a young African-American kid." The Gallagher feels as though he might be sick how many kids were in here.

"Fire and Rescue. Hello?" "Yeah. Right here!" They begin to follow the direction from where the voice had come from, eventually reaching a man crouched next to a kid who was stuck under a pillar. "Thank God, man, he's stuck!"

"All right, we're coming." Bobby reassures the man. "All right, guys, the floor is out. It's stable." their captain said after testing the floor. Alec can hear the young man groan from where he stood.

"Hey, he's stuck. Right here." the man shouts. "All right, help is on the way." Alec reassures the two. They can all hear the boy groan in pain.

"What's your name, kid?" Alec asks as he crouches down by the boy who is about lips age. "Jeff." "Jeff? Hold on. Hang tight. Jeff, we're right here. We will do everything we can to help."

"All right, guys, this debris is holding up this section of ceiling. If we try and pull this out of the way, this whole area could cave in." Bobby tells his team. Jeff groans in pain as the building is heard creaking. "You're gonna be alright. Gonna be alright." Alec comforts him as hen hands him the aid kit. "Just gonna stabilize you." The brunette man tells him.

"I-I can't move it, Coach. How bad is it?" The young boy asks his coach. "Hey, bones heal. All right? You'll be all right. All right? Just a little setback. You remember Paul George? Gordon Hayward? Huh?"

"I'm starting to think differently about this California school. Maybe it's not the place for me." "Yeah, Jeff has every division one college in the country recruiting him right now." His coach tells hen and alec who congratulate him "Well done kid."

"Sir, this firefighter is gonna lead you out of here." Bobby tells the man "No, screw that, I'm staying, all right? This kid is a son to me. All right? He's in my charge."

"Okay, we need to focus all of our attention on Jeff right now. We can't be worried about your safety, too. Now go." Cap orders. "I'm good, Coach. Heart of a champion." Jeff reassures the man. "I love you, kid. He's coming home with us."

"Easy, easy." Hen tells the boy as she examines his leg causing Jeff to groan in pain. "What do we got, Hen?" Cap asks the woman. "Tibia and fibula are crushed. Don't think the debris cut through any major arteries, though."
