It was a rainy night, you and John were out all day and finally decided to go home, your mum and dad told you you weren't allowed to stay with John so you sadly knew you had to part ways

You were walking along the street with him, you were holding hands, it would be sad to ruin such a lovely time, you loved the rain at night, the moon was so big and bright it was beautiful

"John, I don't want this moment to end, I want to stay with you forever" you sighed, you felt so emotional tonight but you didn't know why

"I want that too, I love you so" he smiled at you

"I love you too, Johnny" you smiled back, until you realised you need to walk home, you reached the space between yours and John's house

"John, I'm so sorry but I have to go" you said and stopped walking, the rain was hitting your face lightly as you stood underneath the lamp post

"it's such a shame" john sighed and turned to you, his face wet with the rain and full of shadow due to the light

you got on the tip of your toes and put your hands on John's face then leaned in and kissed him, the rain began to hit heavier than before, adding to the sad and dramatic atmosphere, he kissed you back and pulled away after what felt like 30 minutes

"ill call you once I get home, love, goodbye for now" he said and smiled, you turned and walked the other way, you wished the kiss lasted longer than what it did

You were consumed by your thoughts as you walked home, not even realising how dark it is and how heavy the rain is, you got home and dried off in your bedroom, staying close to the phone

You began to worry as John didn't call you, it had been 25 minutes since you got home, maybe he forgot you thought

The clock hit 11pm, John still hasn't called, you decided to just call him, the phone rang and rang but no answer, you called again, but this time mimi answered

"hello? Who is it?"

"hi mimi, is John home? Sorry for calling so late"

"yes, he fell asleep on the sofa as soon as he got home"

"ah I see, he said he'd call me once he got home, but its okay, sorry for calling, goodbye and goodnight"

"goodnight y/n"

You hung up, you felt so silly for worrying about John, but atleast you showed you care, but now instead of worrying you were going to go to sleep, you got changed and sighed when looking in the mirror, you wish he had called but it doesn't matter now

You fell asleep and woke up, you quickly got dressed and ran down stairs, you left the house and ran to John's house as fast as you could

You made it there within 10 minutes, you knocked on the door to see John, you kissed him and pulled away

"John, I love you so much, I missed you" you said and hugged him, you both were still standing in the doorway

"I'm sorry I didn't call, mimi told me you were worried, I'm sorry, love, come in" John said and took you upstairs
