"Sairah, this is Aminata. She can potentially be your adoptive mother as shes already adopted Leigh-Anne.Now, I expect Sairah to be in school by next month and I need a health care provider for them both also by next month." The woman said doing a half assed job introducing the two to each other before leaving.

"Welcome, it's nice to finally meet you face to face Sairah. I go by Amina or Ami. You don't have to call me mom or anything. I want to make you feel as comfortable as possible here. Have you eaten?"

She shook her head. She looked around for her little sister. Amina noticed this.

"Looking for Leigh?" Sairah nodded.

"She's with my husband and his best friend. She'll be back soon." While they did that she began preparing lunch for everyone.

She looked up when she heard a key in the door, sairah doing the same.

"Mommy. I found the one"

"Did you?"

"Yes!! She's so fluffy. I'm going to call her floof. Can I have her please, please mommy."

"Where is she?"

Ami sighed when she saw the white Samoyed, of course she chose the most expensive and high matienence dog.

"Leigh-Anne. . . "

"Thank you, thank you, thank you" She hugged her mother.

"Listen to me, you're responsible for her. You have to feed her, walk her everyday and clean up all the extra fur from when she sheds. Daddy and I aren't going to be the ones looking after your dog. We will buy her food, take her to the vet and take care of those matters but everything else is on you. Once I see you can't take care of her she's going back. Understand?"

"Yes. Thank you mommy. I won't let you down"

"Come floof!" The six month old puppy followed her upstairs.

"No Leigh-Anne"

"I can't have her?"

"I mean don't take her upstairs, take her outside.and put on a sweater, it's a little chilly" Leigh-Anne nodding grabbing her hoodie from by the front door before running to the back door.

"How much is that dog?" Amina asked Jamie when he and Tony walked in.

"Twenty thousand" Tony said with a smirk.

"You're handling that right?" She asked her husband. He shook his head.

"Mimma!"

"Yes daddy"

Leigh-Anne came inside and the dog followed her around.

"Jamie. Don't do that to her" Amina hated for Leigh-Anne to be upset, She already knew what he was about to do.

"I can't afford it right now bambina. I'm sorry"

"I-. . .Its okay." Leigh-Anne went over to Ami as tears brimmed in her eyes. Her puppy was her first friend and now she is going away. She really wanted her.

Ami picked her up, giving her a hug as she always does when she cries.

"You really want her don't you, baby?" Leigh-Anne nodded and the woman sighed walking into the kitchen with her daughter. Leigh-Anne didn't notice her older sister as she was too concerned about her puppy.

Amina took out her check book writing Tony a check for twenty thousand dollars.

"Next time run it by me please" She held the check out to him.
