Her purse and backpack containing Tikki and Plagg, the Miracle Box and her sketchbook, she took her suitcase and walked out of the airport. The air and dark clouds of Gotham were definitely not what she was used to in Paris, but it somehow felt more like home to her. Marinette took out her phone and typed in the address of her new apartment and decided to walk to it, taking in the city and its architecture.

Jason met her at her apartment the next day, he was going to show her the city. He knocked on her door and waited for her to opened, after a couple a second he heard what seemed to be the entirety off the kitchen fall to the ground, he was almost worried, but in a moment, the door opened to reveal a young dark haired woman, with the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen before. She gave him a smile that could rival with the brightness of the sun and at this exact moment Jason understood what the greatest romance authors described in their books.

The way his heart rate had increase just enough to give him the impression he had run a mile, from the way everything around them seemed to disappear when he looked at her and with the heat in his chest when she smiled at him. His hand were sweaty, his mouth was dry and his knees were weak. He tried to talk, but nothing came out, so he simply awkwardly waved at her, not saying a word, this action making her giggled. The sound of her laugh was not something new to him, but hearing it without the interference of the phones, was like listening to an angel singing, t made him so nervous, for a reason he didn't want to acknowledge.

"Hi!" the shy girl let out, waving at him. He smiled and brought his arm up to rub the back of his neck, answering with the same awkwardness.

"Hey!" they were both blushing. Something that would have been perfect for the rest of the Wayne boys, for their blackmail collection.

"So... Where are we going?" asked Marinette, trying to ease things between them.

"Oh, euh... I thought we could walked in the fashion district and then eat a bite, before I show you the Poison Ivy's Garden?" she giggled, when his statement sounded more like a question. At that, Jason sighed and passed a hand on his face and through his hair to gain the control of his mind back.

"Okay than! I'm right behind you!" Mari took her purse and locked the door, before following her friend in the streets of Gotham.

The nervous duo rapidly drifted back to the normal conversation they were used to have with one another. It was so easy and simple, no more stress and no more pressure. After that day, meeting up almost became a daily thing for them, they would eat lunch or dinner, when he wasn't with his family or when he knew she was working on some commissions, he would picked her lock and get her out of her apartment for a walk or to eat. Their dynamic was as chaotic as themselves.

After a month, LadyNoire even started to follow Red Hood during his patrols across town. She was missing the feeling of swinging from building to building and running as fast as she could at night. She didn't engage with the crime fighting right away, preferring to study her new environment before jumping into the fight like she did when she first became the Miraculous holder. She would only help him with the victims, by protecting them during the fights or by escorting civilians during their move or back home, mostly women and children. Every week they would meet up at her apartment and she would show him how to make different types of bread and they would suit up and deliver it to the street kids.

Red Hood kept her as far as possible from his family, wanting to keep her for himself, but he also wasn't sure what kind of reaction he would get from his family, especially Batman, who was known to hate and hunt down magic users and from what she had told him about the Miraculous and the Kwamis, they would rapidly be put has potential enemies in the Bat's book.
