You

My brow was covered in sweat by time I was done. Me and Kinzie, the sweet nymph girl, had just spent most of the morning setting up traps and weak spots for Hylla to use in her battle against Otrera. This time, we wanted to be the prepared ones.

I tied the rope taut after pulling up the large crate and slumped against the corridor wall.

"Hylla told me you are Andromeda's daughter." Kinzie took a seat next to me.

I sniffed. "Did she now."

"I believe her. And I want you to know that I'd follow you if you were queen. Any of those on Hylla's side would follow you of anything happened to Hylla."

I snapped my head towards her. "Nothing is going to happen to Hylla. She will defeat Otrera for a second time tonight, and my friends will complete their quest and free Death so that she can't come back."

"I certainly hope so. All of this preparation will hopefully give Hylla an edge," Kinzie commented.

I nodded. "I just hope she won't need it. Now come on, let's make sure that no one has seen what we have done. And perhaps delay Otrera if she has shown up by now."

Kinzie got up first. "People will likely start to get suspicious if I don't go back to my desk."

She gave held out her hand and I took it as she lifted me up. My stomach chose a great time to grumble. "You wouldn't happen to know where lunch is, do you?"

Kinzie giggled slightly at the noise. "I'm hungry too. No one has shown you the cafeteria yet. It's not as fancy a system as any of the demigod camps, but we are the Amazons. We can order in practically anything."

I raised an eyebrow. "Anything?"

She seemed pretty excited to show me around, making way towards the cafeteria. The cafeteria was atleast resembling one. I half expected for it to be some random room in the warehouse surrounded by shelves of who knew what. Instead, it was sleek and modern. Tables were covering the floor and there was a large computer interface in the corner followed by some kind of metal shoot.

It was already pretty late in the afternoon, so most Amazons had already finished eating their lunches. But Kinzie wasn't lying when she said you could order in anything.

The large computer interface allowed you to select from hundreds of fast food and take-out restaurants. McDonald's, Panda Express, Edo's, Olive Garden, a restaurant from olympus called Alpha Delights, and even one from new Rome called Roma's.

"You weren't kidding when you said you could get anything." I scrolled up to the top of the list before selecting the greek restaurant Alpha Delights. I ordered a spicy jalapeño chicken skewer with rice. The whole meal slid down the shoot almost instantly and landed on one of those red cafeteria trays. It was freshly steaming and hot.

Kinzie ordered herself a mcchicken from McDonald's and took her tray aswell. "I love that meal. I think one of my aunts own that restaurant. The whole restaurant is run by nymphs, and it is absolutely delicious."

We took a seat at one of the empty tables.

"It's a bit spicy though," Kinzie continued. "Do you like the heat?"

I looked down at my food, realizing what I had unconsciously chosen. Spicy and Greek... Goodness, even the food I ate reminded me of Leo. I flushed at her question. "Perhaps," was all I said before taking a bite.

It felt like fire on my tongue, but atleast it burned away the tears that came with thinking about the event of 6 months ago.

I savoured every bite of it.
