You

It took another 4 hours on top of everything for me to make it to the service tunnel that would lead to the Roman camp. Though, that didn't mean Gaea was going to take it easy on me.

In that four hours, I swear I killed 7 empousai, 3 earthborn, 2 angry cyclops, and 4 furies. To say I was mildly annoyed would be an understatement.

I thought I would enjoy freedom, but I couldn't really call it freedom when the things I cared most about still had me enslaved to that monster Gaea.

Of course, that was after I stole a car and started driving down highway 42 to caldecott tunnel. I almost felt bad for the person who's car I stole. I really was meaning to return it... somehow. That was before I ran the car off the road and into a startled empousai 3 miles from the entrance to camp.

It was a little unconventional finding my way to the entrance of the roman camp. Normally, you would go to the wolf house and get directions from Lupa, but since I was practically a traitor now, I feel like Lupa would probably just rip me to shreds. So, wandering through the Oakland hills was good enough for me.

I kept to the edge of the fence that seperated the freeway from the other neighborhoods around the area. Yet, due to the large holes in the chain at different spots, I could only assume that the fence didn't do a lot to keep people off the freeway.

I thought I could hear the screeching of more monsters in the area, but thankfully they seemed to decide to leave me alone now. Probably Gaea's orders. If she were going to keep bringing them back to life, they would have to stop trying to kill me.

I spotted the service tunnel entrance easily. There were two larger tunnels for traffic. One was coming out of the tunnel, and the other was going in. Right in the center, two roman demigods were keeping watch. They certainly looked roman. For a second, I was hoping that it would be Frank and Hazel just as how they would be the day Percy showed up, but the face underneath the helmets didn't match the descriptions I would expect from the books.

I paused on the other side of the freeway. It didn't seem like they spotted me yet, but it still left me with the question of what I would say to them. Do I just stroll over there?

Like, hey! I'm here to go to the roman camp. Please don't kill me...

I shook my head. I doubt they would kill me. I mean, these guys were supposed to let demigods into the camp... but what if you weren't a demigod. What if you were-

I paused. At this point, I didn't really know what I was. Was I a human or a demigod? Since I got here six months ago, the most I could figure out was that I was summoned to this world by Gaea herself. There have been other people summoned here through the years, and from my understanding only the person who summoned you here could send you back. It made me curious how many other summoned were still in this world. Perhaps I could ask them for help out of my situation. Then, I could send my father back to my world and stop Gaea from destroying this one.

The earth seemed to turn to mud under my feet and I jumped back, a little surprised. I snarling face seemed to form itself out of the clay-like substance and I nearly growled when I saw her sleeping features.

"What do you want?" I spat. The sleeping earth lady only smiled at my obvious distaste in her.

"Don't even think about crossing me," she said in her smooth voice. "You can't get home without my help. And neither can your father."

I clenched my fist as anger seemed to bubble up through my blood. "Watch me," I snarled. I stomped right on her face as I walked past, only to step on solid ground. I wished I had the satisfaction of seeing my foot in her face, but it seemed like I didn't even get that privilege. Who really cared if I was doomed any ways.
