You

My eyes snapped open, senses on high alert as I bolted upwards. I was half expecting to be lying in some dark alley at the side of a street. That, or maybe on some bench in the middle of the park. To be honest, I didn't know what I was expecting, but it was not this small, cozy bed.

I looked around. The lighting in the room was bright and a little harsh, but there were shelves filled with swords and shields and other small trinkets. I thought I could see some curved horns and other spoils of war on the shelves too. It helped make the room seem a little more... livable?

I pulled the trinket off my necklace and let it transform into a sword before cautiously getting out of the bed. Thankfully, I only had a small headache, but I had a bigger problem.

The small stone belonging to some goddess was gone. And I was kidding myself if I said I wasn't getting a little attached to it. That also meant I couldn't use it to just port myself out of here.

I poked my head out of the room, surprised to find it opening up to a large warehouse. There were shelves and crates piled high, and the while thing was larger than I had suspected. There were women walking around with tablets in their hands trying to clean up what looked like piles of rings and bracelets and all kinds of trinkets that were scattered around the floor.

They seemed to be guiding around men who were wearing orange jumpsuits and collars around their necks. Something about it gave me a sour feeling in my stomach.

If I didn't know any better, this was the Amazon warehouse, and I was in Seattle. Due to the mess, I could only assume that Hazel, Frank and Percy had already escaped this place.

I cursed my luck. So close, yet so far. I could only hope that the rest of their quest went well, cause I doubted I'd be able to find them again. I then paused, Ella. Where was Ella?

I turned back to the room, but didn't see any sign of red feathers. She had to have made the jump from Portland to Seattle with me, right? I tried to remember what had happened before I blacked out, but everything was blurry.

"Ella," I whispered. Though, she wouldn't hear me unless she was someplace close. I suppose I chose the wrong time to do so since one of the Amazons chose to round a corner around a shelf at that exact moment.

"You're awake," she said with surprise. Then, she did the oddest thing. She bowed her head low in respect.

I paused, at the verge of running before confusion settled over my features. She was... bowing... to me? She looked back up, seeming to notice my fight or flight position. My sword was up and I was ready to sprint.

She clearly didn't seem to get it. "Hey, wait-" she held out a hand and started running at me, but I was quicker. I blasted her with a burst of wind and started running. That seemed to get the attention of quite a few amazons.

I started to get quite a following as I ran down the aisles. "Hey, stop!" They seemed to yell.

A couple of them managed to corner me at the end of one of the aisle, but I used a strong guest of wind to propel me to the top of one of the crates. I continued running.

First, I had to get out of here. Second, I had to find Ella. I had to assume the worst and that the Amazons had captured her. It made me sick thinking they had her trapped in one of those cages.

"Andromeda! Wait!"

I paused at the name, spinning as the Amazons stopped a short distance from me. Thankfully, they didn't try to get any closer.

"Sorry? You must have me confused with someone else. My name is not Andromeda." I stated, still holding my sword out defensively.

A girl with dark hair and obsidian coloured eyes stepped forward. She had a golden chain wrapped around her waist and she looked oddly familiar. It snapped into place.
