"Well??" Dustin asked really impatient. The whole thing about Steve really took a toll on dustin and put him on edge with worry for his mother—sorry, I meant babysitter.

"Him..." El said.

Steve couldn't sleep for all the days where the child services were after him. He needed to get rest. Just like he needed a real dad and mom.

He had an option of going to hopper and asking for a place to stay for awhile until he has enough money for his own house. The only reason why they are on his ass of a trail is because he is not the age a person can be living alone. In Hawkins, you have to be 25 or older to live alone.

The problem is that steve is 18. That's why they need to take him. "Steve..." He heard. He looked around in confusion to tired and not well-fed to speak.

"It's just me El. What is happening?" He heard again. 'Well you know child services are asses, cant eat in fear of getting caught, and also cant sleep because that can raise my chances of getting caught so yeah I doing great and you probably already know what had happened so yeah.' Steve thought. He thought El could hear his thoughts. —Which she can—.

"I could ask-" she started until she was interrupted. 'No it's...fine.' Steve struggled to think. "No I am there is no point of trying to stop me. Now tell me where you are." She said, strictly. Steve didn't answer. '———— blvd ——' Steve thinks.

"Thank you mo- Steve." She says as she leaves. Steve just zones out after but is very careful about the situation.

"We must leave to go see hopper." El says. "Right! On we go!" Mike says. "No. Me, max, and Dustin will go. The less people go the better of Steve getting nervous or something." El says.

Mike sighs. "Fine." He says, clearly annoyed.

With Hopper, he already found out about Steve and his situation. And when El, Max, and Dustin arrived Hopper and them were already in the car leaving to the address that Steve gave El.

"He might have moved since they are trying to get him." El explained. Hopper nodded. He would do anything to get Steve any help he could actually give.

Meanwhile with Steve, he is having a hard time staying awake. He's alive but just needs sleep. He hears a car engine come his way and stop. He try's to get up but fails from lack of food and sleep.

"Steve?!" ? Says. Hopper? He thinks. "Over hear!" ?? Exclaims. Dustin?! Again. "He said he was here." ??? Explains. El?? Again. "He could have just ran away." ???? Says. Max? There we go again.

"He could have not ran away from this location from lack of sleep and food. He wouldn't be able to run or get up." ??? Says. Definitely El. Steve tries to get their attention by a loud groan and succeeds.

"Steve!" Dustin yells. Steve's vision goes blurry. "Don't worry Steve this problem will go away, I promise." He heard Hopper before drifting off to sleep. He felt Hopper pick him up from the ground to put him in the car though.
