(Hours later, still xiaos pov)
I went back to Wangshu inn after doing a couple of errands, mostly stuff cloud retainer wanted me to do for her. It was nighttime and things were more quiet, nighttime had to be my favorite time of the day.
"There you are! Paimon figured you be here!" And squeaky voice called out
Great there here again.
"You two again" I said
"Wait don't go disappearing again!" Paimon said quickly
"What this?" I said catching a glimpse at the blonde ones hand

"It's your favorite almond tofu!" Paimon stated
Do you really think you can win me over with just almond tofu? I mean you can but hey.
"Quick tell him everything before he finishes eating!" The fairy whispered
They told me how Rex lapis had been murdered, but that cant be true.
"I... can't imagine it. Though times have changed I never imagined Liyue without him" I spoke
I sighed, do the others know?
"I will seek moon carver, mountain shaper and cloud retainer. It's time they too made their decision" I said
"Are the adepti going to take over his role?" The blonde spoke
" responsibilities is responsibilities," I spoke
They both became silent.
"Is that all?" I asked
The traveler looked at Paimon then me.
"Yes. That'll be all." She said
The traveler seemed... upset? I don't know human emotions are weird.
"If... your ever in trouble, find yourself in a sticky situation. Call out my name.. adeptus xiao" I said
Would it be wise for her to summon me at any given time? Should I have told her that? Im all confused now
