As lightning strikes, so do i

It's been a week since the traveler got back, I haven't seen her personally yet but from what I hear she looks a little different.

"Xiao? Are you there?" I hear a voice call out

I teleported to the sound of the voice and it was her, Paimon wasn't anywhere around.. but they weren't kidding she looked different. She had lighting strikes on her body. From her shoulders down as far as I could see.

"Traveler your..." I started
"Yeah.. the fight with raiden shogun didn't go to well.. but everything is okay now!" She said

Is she insane?! She picked a fight with the raiden shogun?! How in the world is she not dead? Raiden's strikes can kill a person in a blink of an eye!

"You... why would... how are you..." I then let out a deep sigh

I then felt two hands wrapping around me. I gilt my eyes open and see her hugging me.

"Don't be mad Xiao.. I'm okay now" her voice cracked

She sounded like she was going to cry, my heart shattered

"No, no I'm not mad I just..." I stopped and hugged her back
"Missed you.." I whispered
"I missed you too." She said calmly

I have never in my life felt so... happy? Calm? At peace? I can't even explain it. She stopped hugging me

"Xiao, do you have time to spend the rest of the day with me? Paimon left to do her own thing and... I don't like being alone." She asked
"I have all the time in the world.." I said
"Great" she whispered
"I know you don't like being in public places so, do you have anywhere you'd liked to bring me?" She asked

Well there aren't many places I'd deem worth while but..

"It's fine, I'll be on my best behavior in the harbor." I said
"Xiao.. you don't have to go there if you don't want too." She said
"But I do, I want to go there... with you..." I said

She looked at me with a worried expression then smiled

"If you want to leave at any time, tell me okay?" She spoke

I nodded my head
