(Xiao's pov)
I stood silently on the top balcony of Wangshu inn, the view helped calm my nerves. Many voices came from downstairs. None of my concern. I like to be on the top balcony for many reasons, not many people come up here.
"Wait up traveler!" A annoying squeaky voice called out
Someone was coming up here? Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. I teleported to the roof of the inn and watched as a blonde girl walk up and leaned on the balcony. Her clothes were odd, I had never seen such type of clothing before. I had heard of the 'honorary knight' that saved mondstadt, but I didn't expect it to be some little girl.
A little fairy thing? Floated up next to her. I might as well introduce myself. It's not everyday you meet a person that willingly saves a country even though there're not from there.
"Oh he's not here," the fairy said
Were they looking for someone? She looked off into the distance
"To the blind, everything may not be as it appears.." I said teleporting next to her
They told me how they how they have been looking for me and showed me a sigil of permission
"A sigil of permission? You came prepared" I spoke
"Though this only stops me from hurting you myself, Doesn't stop you from getting hurt in other ways." I said
"Paimon doesn't get it..." the fairy said
Would you leave.
"To much contact with our world is breaking the rules." I said
They looked at me with a 'what?' Expression
*sigh*
"Mortal souls are not as robust as those of the adepti, nor can your blood carry this level of adeptal energy" I said
The fairy opened her mouth to speak
"It's for your own good. Leave. Now." I said sharply
"Wait! We came here to-" the fairy tried to say
I just went back on the rooftop and watch them
"Did he just! Ughhh! Paimons so maddd!" Paimon said
"Paimon wants to give him in ugly nickname!" She said
Try me.
"But if you tick off an adeptus you'll probably only find cabbages in the treasure chests!" She said
And that's just being generous..
"We better go back to the boss lady and see how she manages to talk to him" she said
She put them up to this? The blonde doesn't talk that much. And the fairy talks to much..
They walk into the inn. Finally.
