Bailout - The Azure Wraith

The most loyal Protogen to Mason Amor, he was heartbroken at the dissolution of the Divine Intervention, but knew why it had to be done. Bailout is a fairly tall and built figure, although he is rather slim. With the ability to freeze objects in space and remove momentum, he's also rather valuable.

Upon the completion of The Divine Institute of Intervention, he was met with two choices. For his part in saving the universe, he, like many of the Protogen of the Divine Intervention, were given the opportunity to serve on The New Council of The Galactic Protogenic Collective (GPC), being offered a seat in the Judgment Class of the body. However, he declined to serve on the council in favor of staying at the institute with his old captain, and working as an instructor for the new guardsmen of the universe.

Using a spear created using Hard-light named Particle-Splitter, and his power, he is a formidable teacher. He trains protogen and other species in utilizing their natural abilities against the environment and others, and even against threats that utilize "Unreal technology", or Boson-Energy. The knowledge of Boson-Energy has become widespread now, and with more than just gods and Pattern-Screamers to worry with, they need to be trained.

Overall, he's a rather jolly individual now, a bit of a hard-ass at times but ultimately has the best interests of his students and fellow teachers in his heart.

One day though, he knows that he might be called up upon to help with a threat that the new guardsmen could not handle. That is where the black note came from. A signature he had never seen before, but could recognize the handwriting right away. An off-the-record team called upon for specific circumstances. Divine Judgment.

Every day as he combed through files and homework, and trained harder and harder, he had that black note in mind.

Story - Plight of the Newbies

Many people liked Bailout. He was a strict but kind teacher. He did his best to train them, give them the things they needed to become guardians of the universe at large. Boson weapons and armor, enhanced cybernetics being produced right there at the Institute. He was the one that they all looked up to. Almost more so than Mason Amor or Ja'Kle.

Yet they could all agree that some of his lessons and "in-the-field" ""quizzes"" were a bit excessive.

"You gotta learn to fight in the dark! If you fight against drug smugglers in a cave on some remote planet, and they are a species that has no need for eyes, you will need to rely more on your skills and feeling around than your night vision. It only works so far in until light is no longer able to brighten!" Bailout called from somewhere in the room

"We could just take flashlights." A trainee muttered, holding their flail with an intense grip. The only light in the room came from their visors, glowing in different colors, and yet that provided near no support for them. They felt around, unsure as to what they were touching or how to even go about this exercise.

"Why did no one get a light-based Flow?" Another species, a spider-esque being called a "Arachantchua" asked no one in particular, and he was quickly shushed. They all were thinking the same. Although part of them realized that if someone was given a light-based flow, Bailout wouldn't have allowed them to participate.

Their instructor's voice came booming again, "There are more threats than gods now out there. If someone managed to get their hands on Boson Energy, let's say Blue-Boson Energy... well, they could control shadows, the darkness. Imagine that, someone controlling everything and anything in the room that you're in. Wouldn't that be terrifying?"
