It was so hot in this damn car, I was just about ready to drive off and leave my friends. I parked almost two blocks from the venue, it's been almost an hour and I need to pee.
The venue for the band's meet and greet will probably be a while. So, I got out of the car as quickly as I can, and ran to the caffe across the street.
Two minutes after I walked in the caffe I headed straight for the lady's room, but of corse, there was a line. Knowing the venue was two blocks away, I would expect there to be a line. So to pass some time, and save my friends the trouble of finding the car, I texted my best friend Andrea.
To: Andrea; Hey, I'm parked two blocks from where u guys r, left from the venue. If im not in the car I'm in the caffe across the street.
Hopefully she gets the text, I preyed to myself. Luckily, when I was done texting her I was the second person in line to use the restroom. As I was walking out of the bathroom I get a text.
From: Andrea; We see the car and we're on our way. To: Andrea; Fine, I'm walking out to the car now.
I hurried my way out of the caffe, when I bumped into a tall sweaty guy wearing sunglasses, gauges, and was covered in tattoos.
"Sorry." I said.
"S'all good." The tall man replied.
Then I hurried out. As I was half way to my car I heard.
"HEY!!! WAIT!!!" I turned around to see if it was me the person was calling, it also happened to be the guy from earlyer.
"Ugh... May I help you?" I asked the tall man. "Well, you dropped this." He replied waving my phone around.
"What?!" Sounding ecstatic, I did the full body check, no phone. I must have dropped it when I was hurrying out the caffe, I thought. I grabbed the phone from his hands checking to see if it was mine, it was.
"Thanks so much." I said feeling so relieved.
"No problem, it happens. I'm Alex by the way." He extending his arm for a hand shake.
"Sarah." I said shaking his hand.
