Chapter 14

As soon as I got to my apartment I crashed on my bed. Moments later I heard my phone buzzing in my bag, so I got up and retrieved it to see who texted or called me. It turned out to be Alex.

From: Alex; Hey did u get in ok?

To: Alex; Ya, I miss u already ;(

From: Alex; I miss u too babe :*

To: Alex; X****

From: Alex; :***** What u doin?

To: Alex; Sitting on my bed texting u. Lol I think Luna misses u. She's sniffing the spot next to me and looking at me with a "Where's Alex" look.

From: Alex; Hahaha that's adorable. God, what I wouldn't give to be with u right now.

To: Alex; Don't worry u'll see me soon.

From: Alex; 9 Months sounds soon?

To: Alex; WTF!! 9 MONTHS!!??

From: Alex; I kept telling u come. But no, someone wanted to be stubborn and stay home.

To: Alex; Well u should have told me how long u would be gone. I would have said yes with in a blink of an eye.

From: Alex; Well f*** me /:# This officialy sucks a**.

To: Alex; Yup, next time fill me in on everything?

From: Alex; I will... Hahaha check this out.

From: Alex; No Subject: *a picture of Pablo and Alex* [!!!!!look at the picture with the chapter¡¡¡¡¡]

To: Alex; Hahaha u guys are such goobers.

From: Alex; Ya, ikr. But I'm your goober :*

To: Alex; :* Have u guys already taken off?

From: Alex; In a little bit we are. I can't text u while the plane is flying. I'll text or call u when we land k. Luv u X************

To: Alex; Luv u too X************

I put my phone down and just sat in silence. Luna came up next to me and layed on my lap to comfort me.

"Good girl." I said while petting her head gently.

I put my head back and closed my eyes, trying to get some rest. About 5 minutes later I heard my phone ringing. I went to pick it up hoping it would be Alex. But it was Chase. I thought about ignoring his call, but if I did that he would come back to my place like last time. So I picked it up.

~Phone Conversation~

Me: I thought I told you to lose my number.

Chase: That's not an option for me. I heard your boyfriend is outta town.

Me: So what?

Chase: Can I come over?

Me: No!!! God, don't you get it!!! We're not together anymore and you are no longer a person who I want to be in my life. Ditch my number or I will get a restraining order.

Chase: Fine. See you around.

~End of Phone Conversation~

I angrily threw my phone on the bed. Sooner or later I knew I was going to see him around a lot after the conversation we just had. If he couldn't call me, he would mysteriously show up at places I'd happen to be at and state that it was a big "coincidence".

"I think it's just better if I quit my job, and don't leave my apartment." I joked to myself. I looked over at Luna who was looking at me.

"What do you think? Should I quit my job?" With that she just tilted her head to the side.

"No mama I need to eat." I said turning to Luna, voicing a squeaky voice while moving her mouth flaps. I brushed her head then went to go take a shower.

As soon as I was done taking a shower, I got ready for bed. I checked my phone one last time to see if Alex left any messages. Before I went to sleep I felt like something bad was going to happen. Not with me, but with Alex. I didn't want to give into the feeling. Reason Why: I'm usually right about predicting what's going to happen. So, I just ignored it and went to sleep.
