Chapter 9

When we got home I put Luna down and both Alex and I took a load off on the couch. A while after sitting on the couch I broke the silence.

"Alex, we have to talk. It's been bugging me ever since we've been together." I said seriously.

"Well that was random." He said taken back. "Shoot, I'm all ears." He sat up getting ready for what I have to say.

"What are we gonna do when your on tour?" I asked anxious to hear what his answer was going to be.

"Well, we're still going to be together if that's what you're asking." He said flat out.

"Okay, well what if we get mad at each other and one of us ends up cheating on one another." I said.

"You know, you worry too much." He got up to sit next to me. "I'm going to make this clear right here and right now. I would never cheat on you no matter how mad I get at you, besides I care way too much about you to ever be or stay mad at you." He said hugging me.

"I'm so relieved to hear that." I said taking a breather.

"So, are you gonna show me the freeky side of you or what? Cause I don't think I'm looking at her." He said moving my hair away from my eyes.

"Okay, fine Mr. Eager Pants, just wait here." I went to the bathroom to put in my gauges, nose piercing, lip ring, and my various other types of earings in. Then I went to put on shorts and a tank top.

"Here ya go." I said while making my way down the hallway.

"Holy shit! I didn't even recognize you babe." He said really surprised.

"Yeah, I just took a really long break from looking like my awesome self, to looking like a normal person." I explained.

"Never hide this side of you ever." He said getting up and making his way towards me.

"Besides you're kind of turning me on." He whispered while pulling me close to him.

"Really?" I said smiling and blushing at the same time.

"Yup." He said bending his head down to kiss me. A minute or two in to the make out session, I felt him pick me up, and lift me up and over his shoulder.

"Just to make sure you don't try to run." He said making his way to the bedroom.

"What!?" I said out of breath dangling from his back.

"What do you mean?" I said.

"Dont act like I haven't noticed Sarah. I know you tried to avoid kissing me the first time." He said throwing me on the bed.

"Can we not do this yet." I pleaded.

"Aww, come on babe please." He begged while lunging himself on the bed next to me.

"No, I don't feel ready just yet." I said.

"What about the night before I leave?" He said with hope in his voice.

"Maybe." I said. He rolled him self on top of me so that he would face me lying down.

"Promise?" He questioned.

"We'll see." I said teasingly, then pushing him off slowly.

"Do they have any meaning?" He said poking at my arm tattoos.

"Yes, most of them do have meaning." I said.

"That's cool. What does this one mean?" He said poking at my arm sleeve tattoo.

"It's a Japanese cherry blossom tree." I said sitting up to show him.

"The faded parts of the tree resembles how everything takes time to heal in its own way. Then when everything heals it becomes something beautiful. Hence the tree." I explained.

"That's deep." He said looking up at me in a blissful way, then sat up.

"You know it actually reminds me of the song Clockwork." He paused. "But instead of taking the time for things to heal, it's about growing old and our lives eventually coming to an end." He explained.

"Any more that has meaning?" He asked.

"Yup, I have one one my upper right shoulder blade that says, Big Little Sister." I said, while showing him.

"It's a sisterly tattoo, and it literally means what it says. My sister has one that says, Little Big Sister." I said.

"That's funny." He said while laughing.

"So... are you coming over the night before you leave on tour?" I asked.

"Yeah, probably." He said while playing with my hands.

"Instead of being in the bus I might bring the guys over. It's that fine with you?" He asked. "Sure, that's fine." I said. Then I looked at him.

"You know, your really not what I expected." I admitted.

"Really?" He said shocked.

"What did you expect?" He asked.

"I don't know... probably someone who was full of themselves, and very cocky." I said.

"Well, you got a whole different person." He added.

"Yup, and I'm glad." I said leaning in to kiss him.

"Do you wanna watch a movie?" I asked.

"Sure." He said. I got up and got one of my favorite movies.

"I don't know about you but I'm a big horror movie fan." I said giving him the movie.

"Saw, nice. Usually, my past girlfriends would chuck this across the room, but you my love, are one of a kind." He pulled me close to him, to the point where our lips were almost touching.

"Are you sure you don't want to." He asked.

"Very." I said pulling away to put the movie in. I climbed into bed and cuddled with him, minutes later Luna joined us. Next thing I knew it I fell asleep in his arms.
