Chapter 11

As I walked inside, I noticed Dan wasn't there with the rest of the guys. I walked over to Alex.

"Where's Dan?" I asked.

"He's in the bus sleeping." He said.

"Why?" I questioned.

"Cause he was up all of last night writing music, so was Jason. But he obviously decided to have fun instead of sleep." He said giving me a long explanation.

"Okay, well as long as everyone's okay and settled in." I said looking around to make sure.

"And that's why you're my girlfriend, you just don't care about me, you care about them too." He said hugging me from behind. I turned around to face him.

"Are we going out or not?" I asked.

"Yeah, where do you wanna go?" He questioned.

"Lets go to my favorite spot." I said getting my beach bag and packing it.

"Where is you favorite 'spot' exactly?" He asked concerned.

"You'll see." I said grabbing Luna and leaving him in suspense.

I stopped at Subway, ordered some sandwiches, then drove to our destination. One the way there I played some music from my phone. At the moment the song Change (In The House of Flies) by The Deaftones was playing.

"I fucking love the Deaftones." He said excitedly.

"That's cool, but I only have a couple of other songs." I said.

"Well I fucking love these guys, they're badass." He said like a little fan girl.

"Now I know what to get you for Christmas." I said taking a note.

"What about you." He said.

"What's your favorite band, other than Chelsea Grin of course." He said boasting.

"That's hard.... if it was Rock we're talking about, Chevelle; Hard Rock/Metal, Slipknot; and for Deathcore/Screamo band's I'd have to say Suicide Silence." I said giving a long list. I looked over at him to see his reaction.

"Wow... well I ugh... I don't know what to say to that." He said unaware of my knowledge of bands/genres of music.

"I didn't know you were a band geek." He stated.

"Yup, ever since middle school." I reassured him. He was about to say something when I pulled up to the spot.

"Where are we?" He said. I got out the car, then he followed.

"This is my spot." I said setting stuff down on a picnic table. He walked over to a near by cliff and sat down. I went to go join him.

"What do you think?" I asked.

"It's beautiful." He said, looking out at sea amazed.

"How'd you find this place?" He questioned.

"It's been a while since I can remember when I first came to this spot..." I paused trying to think of how I found it.

"Well I was in high school when I found this place. I was jogging with my ex boyfriend. When we stopped and took a break, I wondered away from where he was and found it. Before he came looking for me I went back. As we made our way back to the car, I marked the path with charcoal I found, so I can find my way back. I've never showed anyone this place accept for you and Luna. She practically memorized where this place was, since I come here a lot." I said turning to look at him. He put his arm around me, I leaned in to his chest and just laid there.

"I love you." He said while laying his head on mine. I looked up at him, in awe, realizing this is the first time he said he loved me.

"I love you too." I said smiling, then I leaned in to kiss him.

Buzz Buzz Buzz. I pulled away slowly to retrieve my phone from my back pocket. I looked at the collar ID. It was my ex boyfriend, Chase.

"Who's that?" He questioned. I ignored the call.

"Nobody, just someone I used to know." I said bitterly. I got up and made my way to the picnic table.

"Ready to eat?" I said, taking the sandwiches out the bag.

"Starved." he said getting up from where he was sitting.

"Can you get everything together I'm gonna let Luna out and feed her. I said making my way to the car. I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket again, and decided to pick it up.

~Phone Conversation~
Me: What do you want Chase.

Chase: We need to talk.

Me: That's not going to happen.

Chase: Please just hear me out, it was a mistake when I broke up with you and I'm sorry.

Me: Too late, I'm already in a relationship. Look loose my number and never call me again. And don't even think about coming to see me at my apartment.
~End of Phone Conversation~

I hung up the phone angrily. Then I heard leaves cracking behind me.

"Who was that?" Alex said almost a little afraid to talk.

"Same person from before." I said a little irritated.

"Okay, well I got everything, if you're ready to eat." He said making his way back to the picnic table.

"Ughhhh, why me." I said annoyed while getting Lunas food.
