36. Jealousy And Harshness

Thankfully Miss Leona did not noticed that I sent Tina away, because I know she would've asked why. I really don't want to talk about this with her.

I tried calling Daniel, but he wouldn't pick up.

I'm extremely upset about what he did and we need to talk. I need to know why he did this to me.

I need to know why!

Alright Daniel, you wouldn't pick up but I know where to find you.

I didn't have anything else to do, so I cooked some food. Miss Leona wasn't anywhere in sight either. Maybe she was sleeping or something.

I saw beef in the fridge, and decided to season it up then cooked it with some pepper. The huge fridge and pantry are full of food.

I cooked some white rice and blended some juice with some plums I saw in the fridge, with a little sugar and some ginger.

I was trying my best to distract myself so that I didn't go crazy. What Daniel did to me was very selfish and stupid.

My brother has the power to erase people's memories, and he chose to do it me, of all people. He shouldn't be doing it to anyone. Why would he?

I'm so confuse about this.

I ate in the kitchen, and there still wasn't any sign of Miss Leona. When I left for the stairs she came out. She only smiled at me. I nodded and I continued up the stairs.

Tina called but I didn't pick up. I need some space and time to think. I don't want to talk to her.

It's already night which is way pass working hours.

Lucifer isn't back yet. I cannot stay in this room any longer. I'm watching TV and it's very entertaining, but I'm just not comfortable.

I'm going to work tomorrow whether he likes it or not. I'm already feeling better.

I remember about the pills and decides to call him.

I take up my phone from the bed and dial his number.

"Hey" He answers after the 3rd ring. I'm wondering why he answer like that, but remember that he has my number so of course he'd know it's me.

"Hi um. I need an emergency pill" I look left and right wondering why he isn't responding?

"Are you still there?" Is that music in the background?

"Yes" Isn't he going to say something else?

"I've never bought something like that before. Is there a specific brand that I need to get?" Is he serious? All his life and never bought an emergency pill?

"Ahh. I've never had sex before so I don't know either. Just ask for an emergency pill" I smile thinking that I'm the first lady he's going to buy the pill for. It makes me wonder if he ever bought sanitary napkin for any. It's just a thought.

I thought he would've already been home by now. It sounds like he's at a club.

"Hi Lucifer. Aren't you staying any longer?" Who's that? The smile instantly fades from my lips.

"How many should I get?" He asks.

"Just ask the damn pharmacist! I need to go" I hung up. I can't believe he's at the club while I'm here worrying about him. Why should I even bother?

"Hi Lucifer. Aren't you staying any longer?"

Why would she want him to stay longer? Were they...
