(A/N: Hello~ Sorry if I don't reply often, it's bcs my anxiety kicks in randomly and it was too much that I kept erasing thank you messages I've already written. It was also the reason why I often reply just plain thank you's bcs I'm afraid of making it longer and engage in talks. I'm an awkward and an anxious person, you see. Convo worries me hehe. But, I want you to know that all comments are HIGHLY appreciated, I've read them all. It's the greatest gift a fanfic writer can receive.)

Pete isn't stupid. By the way Porsche avoided his gaze, how he stammered and scurries away whenever he gets the chance, he was hiding something.

It pisses him off, to be honest, but he's not mad. Pete trusts his friend and he knew Porsche has a reason. Whatever that reason is, why is it so much of a big deal, that's what he's confused about.

Pete knew he has to know. He deserves to know for it was his memory after all.

This situation has been going on for so long and it seriously affects his job. He knows not all he hears and sees are memories – or more like he hopes so because by the way he gets scared when some of these enter his mind, he knew there were bad things there.

"I was the one who did something, and I'm afraid you will hate me for it."

Yet Vegas' words scare him. Can it be possible that he inflicted pain? How bad were they?

He needs to know the whole truth, or just enough truth to satiate his curiosity.

And so, his legs led him in front of Khun Kinn's office.

Kinn is the most reasonable out of the three siblings but there were times when he'd yell at Pete but one of the few things he noticed about the second son, he's soft-spoken towards him nowadays.

It can be because he's Porsche's best friend or—or maybe something else happened. Recently, Kinn looks at him with a sense of guilt.

Pete sighed and mustered up his courage before knocking on the door.

"Who's that?"

"Khun Kinn, this is Pete."

"Pete?" He waited for a while before the boss speaks again. "Come in."

"Is there anything I need to know?" Kinn asked, glancing at both his hands, assuming there are documents he needed to look at.

"A-Actually, Khun Kinn..." Pete cleared his throat. "I want to ask you about something."

Maybe he looks nervous or determined—or both because Kinn was taken aback and stared at him for a while before he nodded.

"I want to know... what could be the reason why I—why I went to Khun Vegas' house before." He pressed his lips into a thin line, think for a while, and went on. "I had a mission from Khun Korn yesterday, and Khun Vegas kinda helped me out and... I slept in his room."

Kinn's eyebrow raised. "In his room?!"

"Yeah..." Pete scratched his nape, a little shy. "I already know that I have a systematized amnesia."

"Yeah, Porsche informed me." It looks like Kinn wanted to ask something, maybe he wants to ask how he was dealing with it but Pete beats him in speaking.

"Yes. A-And Khun Vegas is the one I've forgotten about. So, I need to know—everything about his room seems familiar, what mission did I do with him?"

Pete thinks that maybe, he saw the room from the view from Vegas' office where it was connected but the sense of belongingness he felt in the bedroom was strange.
