“Kim, I’m still talking to you!” Korn stood up, he looked very upset.
Tankhun frowned while his nostrils flared up when he noticed Kim was heading to his direction, walking away from their dad he was speaking with a while ago. Kim had a minimal expression on his face, he looked tired and defeated, but he still paused and turned to their father. “I said, fine. We’ll see. What more do they need—what more do you need?”
Korn was about to say something more, but then he realized Tankhun’s presence. He cleared his throat and nodded. “Okay, then.”
Kim sighed, wearing a long face, he only nodded at his brother as he passed by him.
“What was that, Pa?” Tankhun asked as he sauntered into the room, sitting beside his father.
Korn sighed. “The Suwanamas family proposed marriage. Their first daughter likes Kim… a lot.”
“Hah! The nerve!” Tankhun’s eyes bulged out from their sockets. That’s why Kim was frustrated. “No, Pa. Can not be!”
“It isn’t really something you have a say on. Kim will be the one to decide—”
“I will be the one to decide!” He said crazily. “The days of arranged marriage are over. Even kids as dumb as Macau knew that marriage is based on love… not status.”
Korn shook a head upon hearing him randomly dragging his cousin’s name again. “Who says they will marry without love? Their daughter is willing to give Kim some time, have some date, and see if she will grow on him.”
They want them to try to date to see if Kim will have feelings? Tankhun rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. Well, good luck on that.
“I’m crazy, but I’m not as moronic as they are. Who would propose marriage before dating? Don’t tell me you agreed to this?”
Korn gazed at him with a serious look on his face. “Khun, I care for Kim, I was only suggesting for him to try, I won’t force him into doing something he doesn’t want to.”
“That’s good then!” He waved off his hands. “But if they will be too persuasive with this, Pa, you can bet I will give them something worse than what they’re asking for.” He smiled impishly at his dad and pointed at himself. “I’ll propose marriage instead, let’s see if they won’t run their way out of the house.”
Korn massaged his temple. Tankhun would never not give him a problem.
“If they marry, I bet they won’t last a day before they get divorced.”
Korn just sipped on his tea, not giving any energy to reply. If he wants divorce, Kim can do whatever he wants later, but for now… they need this. You don’t sleep on chances like this.

In the past couple of days, as Vegas’ injuries started healing, he started spending his morning doing routines with his bodyguards. Pete found out Vegas was training ever since his dad’s death. His reason?
“You can’t expect me to lead them when I can’t even fight. Who would respect a leader who just commands?”

Even Kinn trained too, but not as much as Vegas was doing… he seemed to be pushing himself too much. That’s why Pete often visits the training grounds to nag at him when he takes it too far.
Currently, Vegas is once again on the training grounds, while Pete? He’s in the kitchen, slicing apples to give him after training… and well, to give Macau too, who’s busy studying in his room.
