Broken

* Chapter 1*

I felt exhausted after stepping out of the taxi and look at my new apartment. Its not the newest or best looking place but it's a new start.

I try to keep telling myself as I walk up the cracked and disgusting looking steps. I take a deep breath as I open the door and step inside, its such a mess I don't even know where to start. I close my eyes and set my bags down." home sweet home" at least I'm on my own without Seth hurting me and controlling me every second I breath.

I start picking up trash and cleaning the kitchen. I scrub everything with every kind of cleaning products I have. I have not ever seen anything so nasty.

I work on cleaning for three or four hours than I clean up myself and go eat. I take a walk after I get done eating and realize how wonderful it feels with out hurrying home to try and keep him happy.

I could not understand why I wanted to be with Seth in the first place, but I guess every girl goes through wanting a bad boy stage.

I now know I'm over wanting a bad boy and want a good man. some one that will do or give up anything for me, one that will love me like no one else and I will give him the exact same back. what I want is a great and real relationship. I want a true man not a childish boy that only thinks he is a man.

You could say I want the dream, I want the perfect relationship and dream guy that I don't think they make anymore.

I call my best friend Ashley and see what she is doing. I have not got to talk to her in so long. when I was with Seth I could not talk to anyone but his screwed up friends or his crew he called them.

Seth was the leader and his second was his long time friend Jared. He was a complete ass just like Seth they both thought they owned me but I changed that.

I packed my things and left before it got worse. I stand looking at the waves on the beach its so beautifull here and I could not have chosen a better place.

set and rub my feet through the sand it still very warm even tho the sun is setting and its getting windy.

I see a dark cloud coming so I know its going to rain soon. I put my shoes on and walk back to my place.

I lay on the sofa and watch some tv till I fall a sleep around one in the morning. I know the next day will be very busy because I need a job.

I search through everything to see who is hiring but looks like I don't have very many options here like I thought I would.

As bad as I hate to work at a restaurant I may have to.

I look through add after add and only see waitress of cashier witch both suck but I will take what I have to for now for some money.

I spent everything I had to get here and to rent my crapy apartment.

I get dressed and walk to the restaurant closest to my place and get a application.

I fill it all out and give to the stuck up girl in front. she would be a total bitch to work for.

I walk out and see what else is close by and get more applications. I start to walk in a place I don't won't to work at but if they are hiring I might have to.

I open the door and smoke attacks me then come the smell of to much alcohol. I walk up to the bar.

"welcome to Gi Gi's can I get you something ."

"no thanks I was just wondering if you were hiring.?"

"yeah but only for dancers ,do you dance or bar tend"

"well I can probably do both but would rather not dance."

"I understand but with a cute body like your you could make good money"

"can I think about it "

"yeah but don't take to long because they hire quick."

"ok thanks"

I give the girl my number and I walk out the door. I take a break and eat something but go right back at it after that.

I know I have to get a job soon or I will not be able to pay rent next month or have money fir food.

I walk down to the beach and set by the water watching the waves crash against the shore . I love it here and wish I could set here all day.

I'm setting and enjoying the sun and then my phone rings.

"hey chic what are you doing ?"

"oh my GOD Veronica where have you been,I have missed you"

"I miss you to chic, we should do something together "

"you do know I left don't you ?"

"No,when did you leave ?"

"I left a few days ago"

"what about Seth "

"Seth is the main reason I left "

"ok girl well I have would love to talk more but Tony just pulled up and I don't want him to know "

"I understand and if you see Seth say you have not heard from me."

"ok girl take care of your self."

I get up and walk back to my apartment before it gets to dark.
