Dark and I watched Mark leave with his hunter before stepping over to the now flattened tent. "What are we going to do?" I asked anxiously. Dark flashed me a smile, "we're getting out of here and we're going to find the others." He replied, kicking his tent out of the way revealing a handgun. "Lucky they didn't find o'l reliable." He picked it up and slipped it into his pocket. "Dark, we can't just take on all those humans, they'll kill us." I panicked. He put his arm around me. "Alone yes, but if we free the other demons we can drive those humans out for good. We'll have our Abbey back!" I looked at him warily, "it won't be easy." I replied. "Escaping Mark wasn't easy, but you did it. You're strong, no Anti, you can do this." I nodded, a hint of reluctance in my tone as I agreed. "Come on, we need to get back to that warehouse."

The warm beam of a flashlight swept the grounds of the warehouse. Two guards stood by its entranceway, several guard dogs were sniffing around and wagging their tails. Dark and I scaled the wall behind quietly and rolled onto the roof. Grit and stones cracked under my boots as I stood, the wind blew through my hair. "How many demons do you think are kept here?" I whispered to Dark as he stepped over to a skylight. "I'm not too sure, alot considering the size of this place." A large screw shot upwards and dropped by Dark's leg, followed by three more. "We're in." He grinned, pulling the cover off of the light and gently moving it to one side. I scooted over and we looked down, the light overlooked a large room with what looked like blood stains on the floor and loose chains and shackles scattered around. "Dear God." Dark gasped. The smell of cigarettes and damp were escaping into the night air and strangling our nostrils. "Dark...are you sure -" I sighed as Dark hoisted himself through the open window. My body shook violently as I followed, luckily the celling in the room was low so the drop down wasn't too painful.

I dusted myself down and looked around, the room was filthy and smelt of rotting flesh and mould. Dark was waiting for me by a nearby door. "Quick." He beckoned me over. I nervously scooted over and he cracked open the door, revealing a large room filled with cages and crates with helpless demons trapped inside. A collective stare was on us as we stepped inside, some backed away fearfully while others spat distastefully. "We're here to free you, don't worry." Dark whispered to them. "We're saved!" One beamed from the corner of the room, causing the others to smile and converse happily. "Anti, hold the door while I get to work on these cages." Dark ordered. I darted to the door and held my weight against it. One by one demons stood and thanked Dark and I for releasing them, I smiled and breathed a sigh of relief, the rescue mission was going as planned.

"Why won't this door open? Ethan, did you break the catch again?"

I gasped audibly and pressed my body against the door, "Dark, they're trying to get in." I called to him in a loud whisper. He turned to me just as the last demon crawled from the cage. "Just try and hold it a little longer." He replied hastily, wrenching at a nearby window handle. My body vibrated and shook as whoever was behind it began to ram the door. "Dark!" A panicked cry escaped me, my sweaty fingers began to slide down the door as I tried to keep them pressed against it. "Almost got it." He shouted back.

"The fuck's going on in there? Let us in!"

That was Mark's voice. I gulped and continued to resist as the door continued to rattle. The metal frame around the window finally gave way and clattered to the floor, one of the other demons threw a cage at the glass, shattering it. "Yes! Right, single file everyone, move!" Dark shouted.

I was growing weak, my back was starting to ache and the stabbing in my chest had returned.

"Open this fucking door!"

The last demon escaped with Dark's help, just as they scampered out of view the door flung open, sending me flying across the room. Dark helped me up and we gasped as Mark stepped into the room with another man. "What the...you bastards! How dare you break in here and try to ruin my operation?" He fumed, pointing at us. "Your regin of terror is over Mark, you can't hurt us anymore." Dark growled, sheilding me as he stepped forward. The man next to Mark threw his head back with laughter. "You think just by freeing a few fleabags is stopping us?" Mark nodded in agreement, that same evil smile creeping across his face. "Our operation is huge and this is just a tiny, insignificant part of it." Mark approached with a quickened pace. I shuddered behind Dark as he took a defensive stance. "And as for you." He grabbed Dark by the scruff of his shirt and lifted him from the ground. "You don't scare me." Dark grinned, clawing Mark's hands. "Get off of him!" I barked, a rush of courage hitting me. Mark chuckled and threw Dark across the room and into the grasp of the other man. "It's you I'm interested in anyway, we have some punishments to catch up on."
