I climbed into the front seat of the truck and Dark turned on the engine. "Let's party." He smirked. "What are we going to do?" I asked curiously. "We're giving Mark a taste of his own medicine." He spun the truck around and parked it across the iron gates, blocking the exit. "No escape for him now. The others will keep watch while we go in." He leapt out. I followed him across the driveway, keeping my breathing low and my footsteps quiet. "Dark," I whispered. "What about Mark's hunters?" He turned to me as he pulled his gun out of his pants. "Don't worry about them Anti, we dealt with them once and for all. Let's just say they and their base were cremated." I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "Make of that what you will." He smiled, hammering on the front door.

We dived behind the bush as the front door opened, Dark shifted forward and cocked his gun.

"What now? Can't you see I'm trying to find-oh, no one's here."

Dark sprung at Mark like a tiger, pushing him to the floor. "What the? Get off of me!" I leapt inside and held Mark's legs down. Dark pushed the gun under his throat as the two locked eyes. "You? I don't believe it!" He growled. Dark laughed, "you're finished Mark, say your prayers!" Mark threw Dark and I off of him as he rolled over, sending us crashing into the wall. "Oh is that so? Two little cunts think they be heroes?" He growled. "Wake up, Dark!" I shook Dark hard as Mark stepped over. Hitting the wall must've knocked him out. I shuffled back towards the front door  as Mark went to grab me. I've got to get the other demons, I've got to get help. My back hit something soft, I looked up and shrieked, Ethan was looking down at me! "Going somewhere?" He cooed, grabbing my arms. "Let me go!" I growled, struggling as he pulled me to my feet. "Did you know demons have hijacked your truck?" Ethan called to Mark. "Really? Bet they're planning a rebellion, no chance! My hunters will slaughter them all." I growled and spat as Ethan tightened his grip. "Your hunters are history! And soon you will be!" The two humans erupted into laughter. "Don't be silly, Anti. My hunters aren't frightened of a load of rats like yourselves. Take him down to the basement, I'll deal with his friend." Mark opened the basement door. "No! Help! Help us!" I screamed in protest as Ethan dragged me through the door and down the stairs. "Your little friends are long gone Anti, you think they'd risk their freedom to help a couple of saps like yourselves?" Ethan chuckled. I refused to believe that the other demons had abandoned us, they couldn't...could they?

I was caught in my thoughts as Ethan threw me into the basement, I crashed into the bed, my arms going numb. "They'll come back for us! I know they will!" I shouted to him, turning around only to be pushed onto the mattress. "You should be so lucky!" Ethan laughed. I went to climb off but Ethan punched me in the stomach and brought the clamps down on my wrists. "Whatever Mark's going to do to you, I'm going to enjoy watching." He smiled. I shook my head in protest and continued to scream for help. They had to come back for us, they had to.

The door swung open, I craned my neck and saw Mark step in with Dark over his shoulder. "What have you done to him?" I snarled angrily. "Quit your crying, just a little diazapeam." He sat Dark in a nearby chair. "Don't think I don't know what you did to my prisoner. He may have gotten the easy way out, but you certainly won't." He called. I gulped. Ethan clapped his hands together. "Ooh drama!" He cooed. "The hammer, please Ethan." He ordered. "He paralyzed me from the waist down..." My eyes widened. "No! No Mark please don't do this!" I begged. "Master, you disrespectful little rat!" He shot me an angered look. "And the bleach please, if you may." "He blinded me with chemicals..." I cried out desperately as Ethan handed Mark the hammer. "Help! Help!" Mark brought the hammer down, I quickly parted my legs and it went through the mattress. "Argh! Stay still!" Mark growled, reaching for the tool. I kicked it before he could grab it and it slid across the floor and under a nearby cabinet. "No matter, we'll start with the bleach instead. Ethan!" He beckoned his partner. Ethan grabbed my legs before I could kick him away and held them tightly against the mattress. I heaved as the smell of bleach hit my nostrils. "If I were you, I'd close your mouth." Mark smiled, leaning in closer to me. "I'd close yours!" I thrashed, Ethan lost his grip on my legs and stumbled back, he grabbed Mark's arm for support and pulled him back, too. The foul smelling chemical splashed over my jeans and all over Ethan's hands, causing him to cry out in pain. "Oh shut up it's just a little bleach!" Mark shouted at him, not realising he'd left the cap off. Ethan continued to flail and cry out, he knocked into Mark, bleach splashed up into his face.

"Argh! Fucking hell Ethan now look what you've done!" He wailed, dropping the bottle and rubbing his eyes and cheeks. "Me? You're the one who spilled the damn stuff!" Ethan shot back. "You let go of his legs!" Mark exploded. Good, they're distracted. Maybe now I can try and get off of this bed. I wrenched at the clamps, luckily for me in his haste, Ethan hadn't buckled them properly. My puny wrists slipped through and I swung my legs over the bed.

"Where do you think you're going?"

I shrieked and backed up towards the wall, Ethan and Mark narrowed their eyes at me angrily. Please wake up Dark, please. "You're not going anywhere! Grab him Ethan!" Mark bellowed. I leapt out of the way as Ethan sprung at me and ran to the other end of the basement. I picked up a broom and held it up defensively as he crept over. "Dead end little demon." He cooed. Shit shit, shit! I rammed him in the stomach with the broom, knocking him backwards. "Hah! You think a broom is going to stop me? Come here!" He snatched it from me and broke it in two over his leg. I growled and drew my claws. If I'm going down, it isn't without a fight. He lunged at me, pinning me to the wall. "Got you now." He grinned, I could smell his breath as he leaned up against my face. Coffee and cigarettes. Disgusting. "What do you want me to do with him, Mark?" Ethan called. I struggled and squirmed to no avail.

"Bring him back here and strap him back onto the bed."

Ethan began to drag me back across the basement and stopped when thundering footsteps could be heard from above. "What the?" He looked up as the light swung like a pendulum. Could it be...the other demons?

"Ethan! We're being invaded!"

The basement door swung open and a group of demons ran inside. "You came back!" I beamed. I watched them pummel Mark to the floor and pin his arms behind his back. I broke free from Ethan's grip and ran to Dark who was beginning to stir.

"Uh...what happened Anti?" He groaned as I turned him over in my arms. "It's okay buddy, we're getting out of here." I smiled.

"No! No! Let go of me!" Ethan screamed as two demons grabbed him and dragged him towards the bed. I helped Dark stand up and we watched the other demons tie Mark's arms behind his back and strap Ethan to the bed. "Who's laughing now?" One chuckled, slapping Mark across the face. "Let us go! Let us go you bastards!" Ethan yelled. "Come on, let's get out of here!" Another yelped, scurrying up the stairs. I put Dark's arm over my shoulder and helped him up the basement steps, all the while Ethan and Mark were begging and pleading to be released.

The sun beamed down on us as we headed out onto the driveway. The demons climbed into the back of the truck and I helped Dark into the passenger seat. "I'll drive." I smiled. "Thank you, Anti." I was about to climb into the cab when I stopped. I heard barking. "Chica?" I closed the door and looked over to the gates. Chica was waiting patiently by the gates, her tail wagging. "Hey girl." I jogged over and cuddled her. "You're going to be all lonely now, aren't you?" I frowned, turning back to the truck, Dark was waving to me. "You know what?" I took her collar off that had Mark's details on and dropped it by the gate, I then removed my own. "Come on, you can come with us." She trotted behind me as I walked to the truck. She jumped onto my lap and I started the engine. "Awh look, we've got a travelling buddy." Dark smiled, rubbing her head.

"Let's hit the road!"
