Bill POV:

I was brought back to my senses by 404 glitching. He's usually very stable, despite having been in the Anti-Void longer that Error, so naturally, when I saw him glitching, I immediately forgot about what was just going on and panicked.

I didn't know if it was best to leave or whether I should comfort him considering [my subconcience] just told him [I was] a mass-murderer. I was going to have a serious chat with [it] later.(Author: wait, why did Bill turn into Spamton? Bill: plot-)

Anyways, I decided to stay and try to comfort him, as I had learned from Error that glitching, and especially crashing, hurt a LOT. I teleported over to him, which probably would have been terrifying for 404 considering he just learnt that I had more LV than him, and he was the destroyer before Glitchy Boi II appeared (I may or may not get into that later). Thing is, he can't see with his eyes all blocked by errors, so I was safe from getting blasted into next week.

I hugged him tightly since he doesn't have haphephobia like Error, it's just a him thing. The glitches slowed down. After about half a minute, his body had stopped glitching, but his eyes were still full of errors. "You okay?" I asked. "n0. +h|s |s l|k3 |f N|gh+mar3 f0und 0u+ Dr3am wa$ a g3n0c|d3r." "Pfft." I stopped myself from laughing at the dark-dry humor. "Bu+ k|nda w0rse." He continued, the glitches continuing to lessen.

"Why's that?" I questioned. "Well, N|ghtmar3 and h|s br0ther ar3 alr3ady against each other. You were someone I trusted with my life, and now, I sort of feel like you could suddenly kill me at any moment." I was about to say something but 404 continued, "And yet, I should have expected it, really. Nightmare wouldn't have let someone so innocent into the Bad Sanses for nothing. Think of Fresh."

"Oh yeah. Isn't Fresh like, his own thing now?" I said. "I think so. Either that or Error finally managed to erase that '90's trash' from existence." I properly laughed this time. I couldn't help it, 404 was just the best sans I'd met. And he's cute. Oop there goes my scatterbrain again! You can disregard what I just said :D! (Bill: Author stop making me do that. Author: No ;))

404 smiled. I looked away. "Well, the LV doesn't seem to have affected you much." he said, matter-of-factly. "Heh." I stopped glowing like the sun- oh for God's sake I can't be bothered to put it in brackets anymore- AUTHOR, LET ME HIDE THINGS FROM THE READERS, IT'S GONNA BE REVEALED EVENTUALLY ANYWAYS! (Author: hmmmmm, but I need my build up, it won't make any sense if it seemingly comes out of nowhere) DUDE THAT- actually makes a lot of sense, do continue.

404 POV:

He said a very dry 'heh'. I was curious as to the placing of it, and worried that he was hiding another thing from me, but decided not to say anything. "What about you?" Bill asked suddenly. "What do you mean?" I asked back. "Why does the LV not affect you?" "Oh. Well, I guess spending a few decades as basically an adopted father really does something to you. I do wonder why I didn't murder Error on the spot though." I trailed off thoughtfully.

After a few minutes of quite comfortable silence, I asked "You wanna go back to the mansion?" "Oh my God! How long have we been gone? I don't know how time works here!" Bill suddenly started panicking over nothing. "Bill, your usually gone for literal decades at a time, no one is going to care if you disappear for a couple days, if time even is different here." "Oh, right, I almost forgot I'm a minor deity." "Correction: you did forget."

*Timeskip to when they are at the mansion*

"Ahh, nice to return to this place, don't cha think?" Bill said as he walked- I mean floated up to the residence of the Bad Sanses. "Wonder what I've missed?" "Eeh, it can't have been much, we only felt like we were gone for a few hours-" I said before being cut off by my so- I mean Error "Oh, HeY gUyS, wHeRe'Ve YoU bEeN fOr ThE pAsT cOuPlE oF wEeKs? I cOuLdN't FiNd EiThEr Of YoU aT aLl." He asked. Oh, well I guess that's how time works.
