After we were done with the shirt change and some little running around the campus like wild animals, we returned to class to be met by a pissed-looking Ms.Renal. I was sweating by the time we reached class while Alan was nearly dying of panting. He was really out of breath because I chased him and then tricked him by stopping abruptly, while he kept on running like a madman without having a glance back at me.

"Rose, I'll pay you back for this," he whispered to me while panting, and I just chuckled.
"Sure, but just shut up for now because Ms.Renal is looking right at us," I murmured back.

"Where were you both?" She asked, probably not liking the fact that a guy and girl were out together. That's what she sees first.

"Rose ran out of class and I went to call her back," Alan immediately said, making me gasp while Elsa looked at Alan with wide eyes. Snitch! Robby just chuckled.

"When and how?" I whispered-shouted to him, and was getting ready to get the scolding from our teacher and punch Alan afterwards. But unexpectedly, she sent us to our seats without a word because she was now going to collect our notebooks. Thank God.

But wait a second... I suddenly remembered Stella and instantly heaved a sigh of distress. I'd ruined her entire book, how on earth will she submit that drenched work to this pissed off teacher? And to think that I've again given Stella a hard time by both ruining her work as well as now returning late to class with a guy.

"So, most of you did submit your books, now I just need-," she stopped and glanced around all of us, "-Nicholas', Spencer's, and Stella's. Also Daisy's."

I sat down on my seat, getting even sweaty now that I'll probably get taunted by ma'am for both being late to class as well as being a nuisance to others by destroying their stuff. Stella stood up, then heaved a glance at me. I glanced back with the same emotionless look she gave, because I had totally no right to plead her to not tell my name on it. So I just sat there like a puppet, waiting for the scolding, for the blank looks given by everyone, for a bad mark on my name, a bad mark on the name of well behaved, disciplined, studious student Rose Lawanda Bilton. Just a great day.

"Where's your book?" Ma'am demanded to Stella after she got the other three's books.

Stella blinked her eyes after having been in a glancing competition with me for so long, then responded, "I'm sorry ma'am, but it..."

"It what? You forgot to write the notes again?"

"No, I did write it, but it got drenched."

"Drenched?" Mam asked, her eyebrows raised, "How can you be so careless as to spill water over your important things like that, Stella, I'm totally disappointed in you."

Damn, she didn't even listen to her as to how it got drenched.

Stella bent her head, "Sorry ma'am. I just didn't see that I'd kept it on the table."

"So??" Mam continued, "You aren't a little kid anymore, how can you keep spilling drinks like that unless you were playing with your bottles that time?"

Uh oh.

"Wait, no, I wasn't -"

"Whatever it is, I need the book right by today before you go home. If you don't, I'll just not correct that entire chapter," mam threatened. I thought that right now, Stella would spill the beans and get herself out of trouble. But Stella nodded slowly and started to sit down...much to everyone's surprise, especially mine. No one else spoke for her, but that isn't right. Of course not.

So I stood up.

"Ms.Renal," I said slowly, sighing internally, "I spilt my drink on Stella's book during lunchtime. She has no fault on her side."
