Planet Name: Aglaciar

Aglaciar is a beautiful, icy planet, with mountains covered in sparkling snow. The inhabitants are similar to humans, but they are built for the cold weather to help them survive.

Though the snow is beautiful and the sky is constantly a beautiful gray color, the most noticeable thing on the planet is the gigantic glacier. A large castle sits on the glacier, impenetrable by ordinary citizens, which makes sense, as the king doesn't do much but sit on his throne all day, drinking wine. In fact, it's only accessible by the sky, as the ice on the glacier is too slippery to climb, therefore the castle is hard to get to, unless you're the king, with his own weird flying contraption thing (planes don't exist in Aglaciar).

(Picture of a glacier above for reference)

The planet is small, and it's a monarchy, the inhabitants lived happily and under fair rule, until one corrupt king came around. He has several wives, and is always looking for more.

And the wives always seem to be... quite young.

The political state is declining, the economy sucks and so do the peasant's lives after this new king came about. The planet is no longer happy or thriving, and of course, young girls sadly go missing quite often to feed the king's sick lust.

The story centers around a single mother named Eira, her teenage daughter, Paloma, and with help from two allies, a strong, independent woman, and a bit of a not so intelligent, ditzy woman, both members of Eira's family.

The king messed with the wrong bitch.

Characters

Eira : Eira's pronouns are she/her and she is bisexual. Eira is a single mom with a struggling florist business. She was married long ago, but her husband cheated on her and she kicked him out and has not seen him since. Before their marriage ended, Eira's ex gave her a daughter, Paloma. Eira kicked her father out when she was young, so she doesn't remember much about him. Eira loves her daughter dearly, and the two are very close. Eira would do anything for her daughter, but some things she just can't do, or at least can't do alone.

It may be possible with some help.

Paloma: Paloma's pronouns are she/they, and she is pansexual. Paloma is a 15 year old girl. She goes to school and helps her mom in the florist shop, and hangs out with her friends when she can. Paloma is happy with her life. It's just her and her mom, in a peaceful part of Aglaciar, away from her annoying aunt Ivy and her annoying family. Plus, the planet is just small enough for Paloma's dear grandma to visit from time to time. Paloma is happy, until one day, as she is doing her homework, the king's carriage arrives. He says that he saw her in the village, hanging out with other teenagers, and decided that he wants to marry her. She is kidnapped from her mother, with only an unapologetic note from the king left in her place for her mother to find.

Ivy: Ivy's pronouns are she/her and she is straight (or is she?) Ivy is the sister of Eira. She's a bit scatterbrained and dumb, and Eira finds her insufferable, but she proves to be a valuable asset. Ivy is Eira's younger sister, and she is married, has a husband and a kid. Lately though, her husband has become cruel and she finds herself finding new... urges, especially when she sees other women. So, when she finds out her niece was kidnapped and Eira needs help, Ivy jumps at the chance to get away from her husband and travels to be with Eira for a week. After all, Ivy is a skilled housewife and can help her sister by keeping her house clean so she can focus on her business and getting Paloma back.

What Ivy didn't know is that she will play a bigger part in getting Paloma back than just keeping the house tidy.

Grandma Jan: Grandma Jan's pronouns are she/her, and Grandma Jan is the mother of Eira and Ivy. Grandma Jan is asexual, sex-repulsed, and adopted Ivy and Eira (who are bio sisters), and was a successful single mother of choice. She visits her family when she can, but she is getting old and finds it harder and harder. That's why, when she heard Paloma was kidnapped, traveled to Eira, but it took a long time because of Jan's age. Grandma Jan offers motivation, encouragement, and maternal love when it is needed.

Note: I am not asexual or sex repulsed so if you are a reader who is, and I get something wrong, please let me know (politely please, any rude readers will be blocked). I am always open to constructive criticism!
