25. Underground

Jin Pov:

We were searching the ground with the guards and by now it has already turned completely dark outside. I tried to stay calm and not let the others know that I was actually really frustrated but it was hard. We already managed to find out that Jungkook was most likely taken somewhere underneath us but we still had no idea how to get down there. It's not like we could break the ground. At this point we were already looking around in some lost places that nobody came to most likely for years.
"Sir! We found something!" One of the guards yelled and I quickly snapped my attention to him. Hopefully it was something useful. I ran up to him and so did the other guards and what he showed me actually did give me some hope.
"There is light." He pointed at a lost, almost destroyed building that was standing in the middle of nowhere. It was weird that there would be light in a place like that so I assumed it could be something important for us.
"Let's go." I told them and we started to walk up to the building. As quiet as possible we stepped inside the building and tried not to make any noises in case someone was in there.
"Close your eyes." Suddenly I could hear a voice from the other room that made me turn to the side.

"Trust me." Once again I heard the voices so there was indeed someone. I stepped closer to the door and peaked my head inside. It surprised me to see Jimin standing there hand in hand with someone. What was that boy even doing? The moment he closed his eyes, the guy standing before him started to grow taller and his hair because pitch black. My eyes widened as I saw horns growing on his forehead and black wings appeared on his back.

He looked just like Namjoon before he disappeared. Namjoon had way bigger wings but the horns were the exact same. A coldness started to go through my body and it almost felt like my heart was freezing inside me. What was going on with me?
"Sir, I feel like I'm on fire. It hurts." Wonho said and held his chest.
"Me too. I will explode." The other guard said as he started to remove his jacket. Why were they burning inside and I was freezing? What in heaven was happening here?
"Calm down everyone." I told them as I looked back inside the room but Jimin and the other guy were nowhere to be seen. Instead of that, I could see a huge hole in the ground and bright light was coming out of it. Did they go in there? Just then it hit me.
"This must be the way to the underground." I said as I walked inside the room and the guards followed me behind.
"Sir this is dangerous." Wonho told me as he saw where I was heading to. I placed my hand on his shoulder before I spoke.
"There is no other way. We must go down there to solve things. They need us. Both of them." I told him and after a deep breath he waved to the other guards and they followed us behind. It was really dangerous because we had no idea what was waiting for us down there but we had to make that risk in order to save our people. I made a mistake so I needed to fix it.
"After me." I told them and they gave me a shocked look but had no other choice but to do as I they were told to. After taking a deep breath, I jumped into the hole and the others followed behind. They screamed while I was just staring at the ground that was getting closer and closer. Soon after we hit the hard ground and I rubbed my side in pain. That wasn't a good landing.
"Why didn't we fly?" Wonho asked as he was holding his butt in pain.
"It's to dangerous. We don't know what would happen if anyone down here sees our white wings. Or what would happen to our wings in this environment." I explained as I stood up and looked around.

Everything was black and red and there was no sign of anyone else. Where did we land?
"Sir I don't like this." One of the guards said as he looked around.
"Me neither." Another one panicked and I went up to them.
"I know it's weird here but we need to find the two boys. We need to save them." I told them and even though I could see on them that they were terrified, they still nodded. Let's put an end to this.
