49. Work together

Author Pov:

Yoongi stood there speechless, not believing that Taehyung knows about the soulmates. Did someone tell him? Did he figure out on his own. Thoughts like that were going through his head.
"How do you know about that?" He asked the devil really confused but he didn't seem to care to answer.
"We have other things to deal with right now." He said and looked over Yoongis shoulder where he saw Jimin hiding. Yoongi tried to block the way because he was still not really trusting Taehyung but he was taller then Yoongi so he could easily see the boy.
"Are you Jungkooks friend?" He asked Jimin and once Jungkooks name left Taehyungs mouth, Jimin jumped out from behind Yoongi and ran up to the cell.
"Yes! Do you know him? Where is he? Is he alright? Is he here?" Jimin kept on asking really fast and the two other boys couldn't follow. Specially Yoongi who was even more confused then before.

"He is okay for now but we need to get back to him. I will help you get home." Taehyung explained and Jimin eyes lit up with so much hope. Yoongi still didn't understand how Taehyung knew about that all.
"Yoongi you need to help me. I can't do it on my own." Taehyung Said as he placed both his hands on the cell and waited for Yoongis response. He looked over to Jimin who was already so full of energy and ready to save his friend. Because of that, he decided to trust Taehyung. For the sake of Jimin.
"Alright. Jimin step back." Yoongi said as he also placed his hands on the cell. Jimin took a step back and the two devils started to concentrate really hard. Their hands became red and they were glowing. Suddenly a heat bursted through Jimins body and he felt like he was about to burn alive. The boys hands lit up in fire and the cell door started to melt under their touch. Blood streamed out of Taehyungs and Yoongis nose. Jimin was really worried. What were they doing? Suddenly the cell door broke down and the two prisoners were free. Their hands became normal again and Taehyung whipped the blood out of his face. Jimin ran up to Yoongi and looked at his exhausted face.
"You are bleeding. Why are you bleeding?" He asked worried but all Yoongi did was chuckle.

"It's okay. We heated up our bodies to much to melt the bars but I'm okay." He said as he whipped the blood out of his face just like Taehyung did.
"Let's go. I don't want to waist any more time." Taehyung said as he made his way to the door again but Jimin suddenly spoke which made him stop and look back at Jimin.

"Wait! Who even are you? How do you know Jungkook? And why are you helping?" He asked really curious but deep down he already knew the answer himself but he needed to hear it out loud.
"My name is Taehyung. Your friend is a fucking pain in the ass and he goes on my nerves all the time because he is so stubborn...but I would do anything to protect him. I will risk my life just to make him smile." And with that Taehyung ripped the door open and ran up the stairs without caring to look back at the other two. Yoongi couldn't believe his ears. This was the first time he heard Taehyung being this serious about someone and not selfish like he always used to be. He never cared about anyone but himself. Jimin felt his own face heat up and a small blush appeared on his cheeks.
"They are soulmates. Jungkook is his soulmate. So this is how they think about each other. He would do anything for Jungkook. Is Yoongi thinking the same?" The boy asked himself as he looked up at the guy standing next to him with a serious face. The guy he called his soulmate. Would he also kill for him? Jimin was full with questions but there was no time for that and he had to push them to the back of his head for the moment. Jungkook was way more important.
"I will get him and we will take you back to earth. Once we are out, we will figure a way out to get you two back home." Taehyung explained and every word that left his mouth made his heart hurt more and more. He didn't want to let Jungkook go but he also knew that that was the right thing to do so he would be happy again. He couldn't be selfish and needed to let him go. It was for the best.
