Lydia and I were on our fifth and final Taco Tuesday stop; a tradition that we started soon after Evan and I broke up. We would go to different taco spots, order one taco and one tequila shot each. Eventually after the fifth or six place we would end up at a club or a bar and tonight wasn't any different. We made friends with the bartender at the last spot, waiting around until he was off. The plan was to meet up with his friend and go dancing.
We entered the club, my body turning to face Lydia, Frank the bartender and Eddie his friend, "Shots?" I said pointing to each and they all nodded, "I'll be back." I turned on my heels and made my way over to the bar.
The bartender made his way over to me, his eyes instantly on my chest before coming back to my eyes, "What can I get you lovely lady?"
I smirked, "Four shots of your cheapest tequila and a couple of limes."
He winked at me and nodded, before setting up the shot glasses, pouring out the tequila. I felt a hand slither its way around my waist and I turned to find Frank standing behind me.
"Thought you might need some help." He smiled subtly at me, his dark features in the club lighting made him more attractive than at the bar.
"Thanks, probably will. This place is definitely fun, a good recommendation."
"Yeah, it's my favorite. I'm glad you waited." His fingers digging softly into my waist.
I smiled at him as the bartender cleared his throat, "There you are gorgeous. These are on the house, he better pay for the next."
He winked at me and I laughed, "You got it. Thanks babe." I handed him a twenty tip and he kissed it before putting it away.
Frank helped me grab the shots and shook his head laughing, "You are a dangerous one, aren't you?"
I chuckled, "What do you mean?"
"You just seem to walk in the room and not even try. And just like that, they are captivated."
I shrugged and winked at him as we got to our friends, handing them their shots. "To a good night and to good, hot friends." Lydia said and we laughed, taking the shot.
I bit into my lime and before I had a chance to take it out of my mouth, Frank was pulling me to the dance floor. I laughed and quickly placed the lime on a passing table.
When we got to the floor I wrapped my arms around his neck and we moved our bodies together. We danced each song that played, his arms moving along my body in a way that made me want to move closer to him. His lips rested on my neck, and as I looked past him, a pair of green eyes caught my attention.
I had to look twice until I realized it was Harry. My body stilled as the song came to an end, "You have got to be kidding me." I heard myself say.
"Everything alright?" Frank said looking behind him trying to find where my gaze was going, I quickly looked away and brought my attention to him.
"Yeah, yeah, umm, imma get another drink, you want something?" I smiled softly.
"A beer. Any kind, imma go to the bathroom, I'll meet you at the bar." I nodded and turned back to the bar area, but most specifically where Harry was. I narrowed my eyes a tad, quickly making my way over to him.
I leaned on the bar in front of him, our eyes locking immediately, "Fancy meeting you here."
"I know, I'm starting to worry you're a stalker." He smirked at me and I rolled my eyes.
"You know I could easily say the same about you." I raised my eyebrow at him.
"Back again, no man in tow. Or was this one better?" The bartender said walking over, pointing to Harry with his chin.
"I realized none compared to you." I smiled and he touched his heart playfully.
"What can I get you?" He smiled, leaning towards me. I leaned forward playfully, "A shot, a beer and whatever Mr. Popstar over here wants."
"You got it gorgeous." He looked down at my chest briefly before walking away to get the drinks.
Harry chuckled as I turned my attention back to him, "I thought suitors weren't a daily thing...and here you have three."
"Three?" I said with a small smirk on my face.
"Dancing man, drink man, and Mr. Popstar, but which will she choose." He said teasingly, rubbing his chin and I couldn't help but laugh.
"The world will never know." I said shrugging as the bartender brought back the three drinks. I handed him my card and he pushed it away. I gave him another $20 tip before sliding Harry's drink towards him.
"So I believe you owe me a phone number." He said, placing down his empty glass and taking a sip from his new drink.
"I do, don't I?" I said, downing my shot, biting into the lime.
"I guess chance was on my side."
I bit my lip softly and held out my hand for his phone. He handed it to me, a proud look on his face and I added my number in.
"Hmm, I feel like with you, I have to check."
"Check what?" I said as I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket, I pulled it out and saw an incoming call, I couldn't help but laugh, "Do I really come off as the type to give you the wrong number?"
"To be honest, I don't know what vibe you're giving off. You're, you're something Grace."
I laughed softly as Frank made his way back to me, pulling me against him, "You okay?"
I smiled, nodding, handing him his beer, "Yeah, let's go find Lydia and Eddie."
He nodded, taking a drink from his beer, as I turned to Harry, "Nice seeing you Harry."
"You too Grace, thanks for the drink."
I nodded and smiled as Frank and I turned to walk away, "Who's that?" He asked.
"Just a friend." I smiled, taking his beer and a quick swig from it before handing it back, "Come on, let's go."
I walked ahead of him, searching the crowd for Lydia.

Later than night I laid on Franks bed. His soft snoring filling the room. All I could think about was Harry. His eyes, his smile. Those stupid dimples. I shook my head taking a deep breath and slowly sitting up. I peeked over at Frank as I pushed myself softly off the bed, getting dressed quickly.
I walked out of his brownstone and wondered, when exactly Harry would be texting me. Or if he ever would.
