"Liddy! Liddy where are you I have so much to tell you about last night."
I ran in, slipping off my heels. I had looked ridiculous walking out of Harry's hotel earlier with his shirt, some joggers and my heels.
I carried my dress and purse in my hand and I quickly stopped in my tracks when I saw Frank sitting at the table, "Lydia went to get us some food." He said softly, looking over me, carefully analyzing the situation.
"Oh. Hey. What are you doing here?" I placed my bag and dress on the couch, undoing and redoing the bun on top of my head.
"I had um, tried calling you, but your phone was off. Wanted to see if you wanted to grab lunch or something. Thought I would just stop by, Lydia said you would probably be home soon so I stuck around."
I bit my lip and nodded, "Sorry about that, my phone died. And I just forgot to charge it. Umm, if you give me fifteen minutes we can go."
"No, Lydia's bringing food remember?" He smiled small.
"Oh right. Um, I'm going to charge my phone really quickly and shower. I'll be right out." I tried to smile brightly, but was struggling with how much of an ass I felt like.
I quickly grabbed my purse and dress and made my way to my room. I stopped at the bathroom and started the water before getting to my room. I quickly plugged in my phone and began gathering a new set of clothes for the shower. When my phone finally turned on, I had miss calls from Frank and Lydia, as well as texts from Lydia warning me about Frank
L: SOSOS, man number two is here!!!
L: WHY THE FUCK AREN'T YOU ANSWERING?!
I responded quickly.
G: My phone was dead. I just got back. Showering really quick.

I came back out a few minutes later and was thankful that Lydia was back.
"Hey Gracie! I brought you Halal. How was Monica's?" She raised a soft eyebrow at me and I understood instantly.
"Good, just cheesy movies all night." I smiled, braiding my hair as I sat down next to Frank, "So are they going to let you off tonight or are you going to be working?"
"Mm, they couldn't let me off. But I'll be there, I'll take shots with the birthday girl. Happy birthday by the way." Frank smiled, leaning on and kissing my cheek softly.
I pressed my lips together into a small smile, "Thanks."
"Oh my gosh! Happy birthday! I don't know why I just casually forgot that." Lydia said running over and hugging me.
I hugged her back and laughed, "You brought me food. That's happy birthday to me in best friend language."
She shrugged her shoulders and nodded in agreement, "True. Sooo, you excited for tonight?" She wiggled her eyebrows at me.
"Yes, I am. Has anyone said they aren't coming?" I asked opening up my food, adding extra sauce to my chicken.
"Cause of the falling Bridge? No, thankfully. And if they do go, I hope it's only to bring back some tea." She said opening her food.
I bit my lip and nodded, moving my food around. I could feel Frank's eyes on me, and I prayed to every higher power he wouldn't ask.
"Who's the falling bridge?"
"She's Grace's old—No one of importance." I quickly interrupted Lydia. I didn't feel like going over this story. Not on my birthday of all days. I could not handle it. Any other day, maybe, but not today.
