Sam was in her room getting her gym bag ready in a hurry to go to Punchy's with Dice and Goomer in order to avoid Melanie.
"Why did you even bother coming back?" Sam said in a monotone voice to Melanie.
"Because I care about you." Melanie defended.
"No you don't. Why didn't you stay with mom?" Sam asked.
"She's doing good and you're not; you need me more than she does. You're my twin sister and although you might not want to admit it but we have a connection. I feel you and you can hate me for it but I'm not leaving you. I'm staying." Melanie said with utmost sincerity. Sam stopped for a moment upon hearing the sincerity in her voice, glancing up at her sister and noticing the vulnerability in her facial features.
But Melanie was right, they do have a connection, the same reason why Sam never worried nor reached out to her sister having peace in knowing that her sister was always doing good for herself. Sam rolled her eyes maintaining her firm composure. "Fine." Melanie gave a bright smile as she made her way to hug her sister. "Not a hugger" Sam says calmly as Melanie wraps her arm around her. "Not a hugger!" Sam raises her voice and Melanie releases her, content with the little affection she was able to get from her sister.
"Hey! Freddy and I were-," Carly said opening the door to the bedroom without knocking, noticing Sam and Melanie at such close proximity, cutting herself off at the sight. "Oh, did I interrupt? Sorry." Carly said about to turn around and give Sam and Melanie privacy. "Nah, you're good." Sam says calmly in unison as Melanie says "You're good." With a bright smile. Sam and Melanie look at each other and back at Carly. "This is weird." Sam states casually causing Melanie and Carly to burst into fits of laughter. Sam rolls her eyes with a crooked smile.
"Freddy is taking me to check out this new restaurant called Bot's, wanna come along?" Carly asked all cheery and hopeful.
"Sure, I'm up for food" Melanie said with a bright smile.
"Uhhh...I'm actually going to train a little at Punchy's with Dice and Goomer but you're welcome to visit when you're done." Sam said.
"Sounds like a plan" Carly said giving Sam a small smile as she left the room, Melanie following behind her.
Carly, Melanie, and Freddy were seated in a middle booth at Bot's.
"This is so cool" Carly said amazed by the robots.
"I knew you'd like this place." Freddy said with a cheeky smile.
"Surprisingly, I've been here before but didn't have the opportunity to try the food." Melanie said joining in on the conversation.
"How do you go to a restaurant and not eat?" Freddy asked. Carly also glancing at Melanie as her interest peaked.
"Long story short, Sam asked me for a favour regarding a prank on Cat. I was in and out of the restaurant after pranking her." Melanie smiled at the recollection of the memory. "I felt so guilty for pranking her but when Sam came clean to Cat about us being twins... Cat was such a sweetheart towards me, as if I haden't done anything." Melanie continued as she fiddled with her fingers.
"No way," Freddy starts. "The only reason I know this restaurant is because Cat took me here on a date... but I now know the date was to make Sam jealous." Freddy said as he picked up the pear pad to start ordering his food.
