"There are moments in our lives that define us. There are moments in our lives that we keep going back to. I've known Jade since I was 9. Jade and I were classmates. I remember taking the desk on the left, Jade had already taken the one on the right by putting her stuff on it. I didn't care, I didn't see her in class. I had left my stuff on my desk and went off to wonder around the school. Until I was walking down a hallway and heard singing. If you've heard Jade sing, you'd know she has a beautiful voice. I followed the voice into a back door that lead to a garden in the back of the school. I was attracted to her because whatever song she was singing it made me feel safe. I remember her long light brown hair cascading down her back. She sat criss crossed and I got close, just enough so she wouldn't notice me because I didn't want the singing to stop. She had a pair of scissors in her hand cutting grass and some flowers. I got closer until I was in front of her and sat there with her. The sun was hitting her face and her blue eyes sparkled, she was...still is beautiful. She didn't do anything at first, just kept looking down at the grass and flower pieces she was cutting so I started the conversation "You have a beautiful voice" it was then when she looked up at me and gave me a strange look. "Go away" she said emotionlessly. "Sorry." Was all I said before I got up and went back to the classroom. Later on when class started a girl had opened the door arriving late and to my surprise it was Jade. She walked up to the empty desk beside mine and just looked at me and gave me an "ugh" and rolled her eyes. Through the years we became best friends, we would talk about boys but it was when we were thirteen where it started.

We had just started eighth grade at PCA. Jade had built a reputation but word had spread also gaining Jade popularity. Let's just say that year Jade did go from and A to a D and it got her a lot of attention, especially one person specifically: Trisha Kirby

Trisha was one of the most popular girls known for her bad reputation, being the schools bully and being held back a grade made her more bad ass. I don't really know what happened but i saw the slow and drastic change Jade had over gone as Trisha stripped Jade from the little innocence she had left in her, fuelled her sarcasm, anger and resentments towards her parents and home life ...and even sometimes towards...me. Tell me Jade, do you remember truth or dare?

It all started when Trisha had dared Dana to flash us, showing us her boobs, to then, Dana daring Jade to make out with me for a full minute. I still remember those words. "Relax, this doesn't mean anything" little did I know that kiss meant everything. See, I hadn't had my first kiss yet, making you Jade my first kiss. I thought it would be short and quick but you kissed me softly and quickly felt your aggression in the kiss making me whimper a bit. Your tongue entered my mouth, and I not knowing what I was doing, I tried to mimic your movements, I guess you enjoyed it too because with your fingers in my hair you pulled me in closer making me moan a little. When the minuet was up Dana let us know saying "Times up, you lesbos" but you continued a bit more until we couldn't breathe. I still remember Trisha's voice "damn that's hot". It was those words that planted a seed in my mind or maybe it was the steamy make out session, or maybe it was the fact that you were my first kiss and that made you special to me. To you that kiss didn't mean anything...at least that's what you told me but to me...that kiss meant everything and that's when my crush on you, Jade, started."

Jade stopped the video, and everyone stopped to stare at her. Andre who had known Jade and Cat for most his life was shocked at the new found revelation. Sam just looked at Jade trying to comprehend how something between Cat and Jade could have ever happened but then she started to think of her times in juvie and with Freddy and realized the even the unexpected can happen. She looked at Jade and then Cat, and it made sense the more Sam started to think about it, Cat likes strong women? Bad ass women? Who knows but Sam was dying of curiosity. Sam almost found it comical because just like the expression, curiosity killed the cat, she knew that this truth might kill her...with jealousy but nothing like Jade with everyone knowing her past with Cat. Tori on the other hand knew that although Jade had an emotionless expression, she could read her so well to know Jade was a little anxious at what Cat might say in the video but if Tori was being honest she was piping with curiosity herself.
