Misunderstanding - Pardofelis x Reader

"Alright. Done." You remove your hand and step back to examine your latest creation worn by the porcelain doll. "Hmm..."

Your eyes scrutinize the seams for any mistake made and were satisfied to catch none. Not a piece out of place. It was perfect.

You nod in approval. "I hope she likes it."

You had always had a knack for creating things since you were a kid and it was that talent that landed you in MOTH. That's how you end up meeting Pardofelis. She was the person you turn to when you needed materials. The two of you were never past that of business partners. The war left no room for relationships so your relationship with Pardofelis never progress past what it was. At some point, the real you did the final synchronization of her memories before departing to face the End.

You didn't concern yourself with the fate that befalls your real self. You were but a sim, a shell of the past. You did not need to concern yourself with the real world only of successors who come into the realm to learn of your story. A lot of time has passed and you have grown very close to Pardofelis. It wasn't a surprise you end up catching feelings for the energetic girl along the way. You expected it. There was a hint of a blossoming attraction to the girl during your time as MOTH's innovator.

"Felis, could you come here for a second?" You called from within your workshop before returning your eyes to the mannequin.

There was movement in the other room. Then a reply.

"Coming!" In a few minutes, Pardofelis was in your workshop. "You call for me, (Y/N)?"

"I wanted to ask for your opinion about this piece." You move over so that she can take your original place. "What do you think?"

She moves over to where you stood and was amazed by your creation. Her eyes went star-eyed in admiration.

"Wow! This is really beautiful! You made this?" The feline couldn't help but extend a hand to grasp a piece of fabric. "It's so soft..."

You smiled. "Of course. Do you like it?"

"Is that a serious question? Of course. Who wouldn't want (Y/N)'s dress? I'd steal it if I get the chance!" Pardofelis realized how bad her words sounded and immediately assure you of her intentions. "N-Not that I would..! Ehehe..."

You knew she meant well and did not hold her words against her.

"Felis is a good person." You agreed before turning to the dress. "I intend for this outfit to be a part of a two-set piece."

"Two-set piece?" She repeated. "As in... you and another person?"

You raised a brow at her tone. She sounded unhappy for some reason.

"That's right." You nodded, deciding against questioning her behavior in favor of confirming her suspicion. "I will have my piece finished in a few days. As for this one, I'll be wrapping it up." Pardofelis has fallen silent since the mention of the two-set. "Felis?"

Your voice snapped her out of her daze. "W-What did you say?"

Your face contour to concern.

"Felis, are you okay?" You asked with worry.

"Of course I am! Why wouldn't I be?" She laughs off your concern as if you had asked something absurd.

Because you never acted so suspiciously? You took a moment to think to yourself. You doubt she would answer you honestly if you were to voice your suspicion so you decided it might be best to leave the matter at that. You had more important matters to attend to such as making sure the dress gets to its owner.
