I woke up, my back pressed against Sirius, his arm draped possessively over me. I lay motionless for a long while, still trying to come to grips with what had happened the previous evening. It just seemed impossible that we had gotten to this point. I breathed in deeply trying to take in as much smell as I could while simultaneously trying to quell flutter eruption that was taking place in my abdominal cavity.

"Fleury," he spoke into my neck, his voice characteristically gruff but thick from sleep, "why must you always wake me up?"

"I literally didn't do anything." I said giggling even though the hairs on the back of my neck were standing up.

"You woke up, that's what you did." He tightened his arm around my body pulling me closer, nestling his nose on the sensitive skin between my shoulder and neck. "Did you sleep well my love?" My stomach fluttered again this time radiating all the way down to my feet as though I were about to jump from a great height. I felt his lips form the words against my skin.

"Wonderfully. And you?" But, whether he said anything or not, I couldn't tell because he started kissing the nape of my neck. I turned over to face him. His arm was extended so I used it as a pillow, not that it was nearly soft enough. He planted a kiss on my forehead while running his hand through my hair.

"This is a good way to wake up." I nodded in agreement moving closer intertwining my legs with his. I lifted my mouth to his and the kiss deepened immediately, his arms crushed me to his body and his hand tightened in my hair. I couldn't help but give a little moan. He broke away immediately.

"What?" I asked. Did I have morning breath or something?

"Uh..." He said an awkward smile appearing on his face, "It's the morning"

I looked at him, trying to make out what he was saying without having to ask.

He rolled his eyes, the awkward smile still on his face.

"It's the morning Yves, there's a stunning woman pressed up against me, kissing me and, I, uh..." He said, this time eyeing me heavily.

"Oh," I said grinning, unable to help myself, "I understand." I hadn't expected this issue to come up so soon.

"I mean, if you want to..." He said mischievously but broke off, his face becoming serious for a moment. "I think I'd like to take it slowly if that's alright?"

"Um... that's fine with me." I smiled, my heart slowing down a little. He kissed me again briefly before breaking away.

"Uh, yeah, if we're going to take it slowly then we really can't do this right now." I couldn't help but laugh at the pained expression on his face but I dislodged myself to give him some space.

We went down to breakfast before we all assembled on the lawn again for our training session. Remus, James and Peter were already outside. Sirius didn't touch me but walked as close to me as he always did but I could almost feel the heat coming off of him so he felt much closer. His smile was broad, unveiled and genuine.
