Chapter Forty Nine

Genesis’s P.O.V
It was the next day and After everything that had happened with Sirius along with Voldemort and the Ministry finally finding out the truth about everything and I was in my Dorm making sure that I had everything packed before finally walking down to the Common Room and found Hermione with Harry and Ron before the Four of us and eventually made our way to the train, “I’ve been thinking about what Dumbledore said  to me.” Harry told us, “what’s that?” Hermione asked him, “that even though we’ve got a fight ahead of us, we’ve got one thing that Voldemort doesn’t have.” he said, “and what’s that?” I asked him, “something worth fighting for.” he said and I smiled a little and eventually, we got on the train and soon found a cabin that was empty and the four of us sat down together, “I just hope we get through whatever Voldemort has coming for us.” I said to them, “I hope so too, if my parents found out about a fight, I don’t know what I would do.” Hermione said to us, “I have no doubt they would be worried, especially for you considering you’re the only person in your family with Magic.” I said to her, “good point. I just wouldn’t want them getting involved with any of it.” she said and we continued to talk throughout the rest of the train ride. After some time had passed, we finally made it to London and once we got to the station at Kings Cross, everyone started getting off and once Harry and I got off the train, the both of us stood off to the side for a moment before we started talking, “don’t do anything stupid alright.” I said to him and the both of us laughed a little, “I’ll try not to.” he said, “I know you’re Aunt and Uncle won’t like it but try to write to me at least, I just want to make sure that you’re doing alright over the summer.” I said to him, “I’ll try, although you’re right about them.” he said and we chuckled, “well, they’re probably waiting for you and by the looks of it, you’re Uncle doesn’t look very happy.” I said as I noticed his Uncle looking at us, “yeah, I should get going.” Harry said and just before he could, his Uncle came over to us, “let’s go Potter, you’ve said goodbye to your freaky friend.” he said to Harry, “hold on a minute, for your information none of us are freaks. So if you ever say something like that at all, you may just regret it for the rest of your life.” I said to him as I pointed my wand before hearing dad speak up, “is something wrong?” he asked us before Harry’s Uncle spoke up, “and who might you be?” he asked dad, “I happen to be her father and I don’t like the fact you called her a freak.” he said to him, “let’s go Potter, I want to get out of here.” he said to Harry before the both of them left leaving dad and I alone, “are you alright?” he asked me and I nodded, “I’m fine, just annoyed Harry has to live with people like him and his Aunt.” I said to him as we left the Train Station.

By the time we made it home for the night, I went right to my room and unpacked my things before hearing dad speak up, “how are you doing?” he asked me and I sighed and sat down on the bed, “to be honest, I don’t know. Knowing that Voldemort is back kind of scares me considering there might be a fight to go through in the future.” I said to him as he sat down next to me, “I know that everything going on isn’t giving you or anyone else the best of feelings but know this, no one is ever truly alone in times like these.” he said to me and I nodded a little, “I just don’t want to get into something that might just end up getting me or anyone else I care about killed.” I said to him, “I know darling, but there’s only so much we can do right now alright.” he said to me and for the rest of the night, we just hung out and spent time together for the rest of the night and once I had gone to my room, I couldn’t fall asleep so I managed to stay up throughout most of the night thinking about everything that’s happened and what might happen and my worry had grown for everything that’s going on as I wished I knew what will happen in the future and after thinking for what felt like forever, I finally managed to get to sleep that night only to eventually start screaming from a nightmare before dad shook me awake, “Genesis wake up, wake up darling you’re just having a nightmare.” I heard him say to me before I finally woke up breathing heavily, “are you alright?” he asked me and I took a moment to find the words as I looked around the room to find out that I was only dreaming, “I’m fine but it felt real, it felt so real.” I said to him, “do you want to talk about it?” he asked me and I sighed a little, “it was about Voldemort. He managed to kill Harry.” I said to him as I felt a few tears slip down my cheeks, “don’t worry darling, it was just a dream. It wasn’t real.” he said to me as I hugged him, “I’m scared dad.” I said to him, “you’re not the only one.” he said to me before moving away from the hug, “why don’t you try to get some rest alright.” he said before I nodded and laid down before I instantly fell asleep for the rest of the night.
