Genesis’s P.O.V
It was the first day of classes and the first class I had was Defense Against the Dark Arts and both Hermione and I eventually left the Common Room with Ron and Harry as we made our way to the Great Hall for Breakfast and the four of us just talked the entire time before making our way to class and when we got there and sat down, we found out that Alastor Moody was going to be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and once everyone had arrived and sat down and he soon began to class, “Alastor Moody. Ex-Auror, Ministry Malcontent and your new Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher. I am here because Dumbledore asked me, end of story, goodbye, the end. Any questions?” Professor Moody said but no one raised their hands before he continued, “when it comes to the Dark Arts I believe in a practical approach. But first, which of you can tell me how many Unforgivable Curses?” he said to everyone, “Three sir.” Hermione said to him, “and they are so named?” Professor Moody asked, “because they are Unforgivable. The use of any one of them will-” Hermione began to say, “will earn you a one way ticket to Azkaban, correct. Now the Ministry says that you’re too young to see what these Curses can do, I say differently. You need to know what you’re up against. You need to be prepared. You need to find another place to put your chewing gum besides the underside of your desk, Mr. Finnigan.” Professor Moody said before we all looked at Seamus, “no way, the old codder can see at the back of his head.” we heard him say before Professor Moody threw the piece of chalk at him, “and hear across classrooms. So, which curse shall we see first? WEASLEY.” Professor Moody said, “yes.” Ron said nervously, “stand. Give us a curse.” Professor Moody said to Ron as he stood up, “well, my dad did tell me about one. The Imperious Curse.” Ron told him, “oh yeah, your father would know all about that. It gave the Ministry quite a bit of grief a few years ago, perhaps this will show you why.” Professor Moody said as he walked away from Ron and went back to the front of the room and grabbed something from his desk before seeing that it was an insect from one of the jars he had on the table before he made it bigger before moving it around the room, “don’t worry, she’s completely harmless. If she bites, she’s lethal. What are you laughing at?” he began to say as he continued, “talented isn’t she, whatever shall I do next? Jump out the window? Drown herself? Scores of Witches and Wizards have claimed that they only did You-Know-Who’s bidding under the influence of the Imperious Curse. But here’s the rub, how do we sort out the liars? Another. Another.” Professor Moody said and most of us raised our hands, “Longbottom is it?” he questioned before Neville stood up, “Professor Sprout tells me you have an aptitude for Herbology.” Professor Moody mentioned, “there’s the Cruciatus Curse.” Neville told him, “Correct, Correct. Come.” Professor Moody said before performing the curse on the spider and shortly after, it began to bother Neville before Hermione had spoken up about it, “stop it, can’t you see it’s bothering him, stop it.” Hermione said to Professor and he had done so before walking over to us, “perhaps you could give us the last Unforgivable Curse Miss. Granger.” he said to her and she shook her head, “how about you Miss. Snape?” he asked me and I didn’t say anything before using the Killing Curse on it, “the Killing Curse. Only one person is known to have survived it and he’s sitting in this room.” Professor Moody said before walking over to Harry before he eventually continued with the class.

After the class was over, the four of us had managed to leave the room along with everyone else as we talked about what had happened with Neville earlier, “Brilliant isn’t he? Completely domented of course. Terrifying to be in the same room with him. He’s really been there, you know. He’s looked evil in the eye.” Ron said to us, “There's a reason those Curses are Unforgivable. But to perform them in a classroom, I mean did you see Neville’s face?” Hermione said to us before we noticed him standing there, “Neville?” Hermione said, “are you alright Neville?” I asked him before Professor Moody came over to us, “Son, are you alright?” he asked Neville and he nodded, “come on, let’s have a cup of tea. I want to show you something.” he said to Neville before walking back up the stairs and Neville soon followed and the four of us continued to make our way down the stairs and eventually made it to our next class of the day. As time went on, it was finally the day that everyone who was 17 was able to put their names in the Goblet of Fire and I was there with Hermione as she read her book before Fred and George came rushing into the room, “well lads, we did it.” one of them said, “cooked it up just this morning.” the other said to the other students, “it’s not going to work” Hermione said to them before they came over to us, “she’s right, what if it backfires?” I asked them with a small smile on my face, “oh yeah?” one said to us, “and why’s that Granger and Snape?” the other asked us, “you see this? This is an age line. Dumbledore drew it himself.” Hermione told them, “so?” one said, “do we have to explain everything for you guys to understand?” I questioned, “so, a genius like Dumbledore couldn’t possibly be fooled by a dodge as pathetically dimwitted as an aging potion.” Hermione told them, “ah, but that’s why it’s so brilliant.” one said to us, “because it’s so pathetically dimwitted.” the other continued before the both of them got up and soon drank the potions they made earlier today and when they crossed the line, I was surprised that it worked, especially when they put their names in but something happened causing the both of them to end up flying before they hit the ground and the both of them had grown white beards with long hair to match it before the both of them ended up fighting about it before the room went silent when Viktor Krum walked into the room and put his name in the Goblet before looking at Hermione and walked away, “I think you might have an admirer.” I told her and the both of us chuckled about it as more people continued to put their names in.

After a while had passed, everyone from all three schools were gathered in the Great Hall for the Champion Selection, “now the moment you’ve all been waiting for, the Champion Selection.” Dumbledore said before dimming the lights before the first name finally flew out of the Goblet of Fire, “the Durmstrang Champion is, Viktor Krum” Dumbledore said to everyone before Viktor got up and eventually walked away before the same thing happened and another name had flown out of the Goblet, “the Champion of the Beauxbatons is Fleur Delecour.” Dumbledore said as she had done the same thing and left the same as Viktor had and possibly went into another room, “the Hogwarts Champion is Cedric Diggory.” Dumbledore said as he read out the final name and he also got up and left the Great Hall, “Excellent, we now have our three Champions. But in the end, only one will go down in history. Only one will hoist this Chalice of Champions. This Vessel of Victory, the TriWizard Cup.” Dumbledore said to everyone until something began to happen not long after as everyone in the room began to notice before another name had flown out of the Goblet of Fire before Dumbledore caught it, Harry Potter.” Dumbledore said and my eyes went wide before looking at Harry, “HARRY POTTER.” Dumbledore said louder before Hermione and I nudged him to go and so he did as a few students said a few things about it as Harry walked the same way the others had, “everyone is dismissed. Go back to your Dorms.” Dumbledore said to everyone before rushing off with some of the others as everyone had done what he said and left the Great Hall. Later that night, after the names had been called and everyone was sent back to their Common Rooms for the night, both Hermione and I had been talking about it for a while before I noticed that Harry had been sitting alone and I decided to go and sit with him for a while, “hey, how are you feeling?” I asked him and he shrugged a little, “I don’t know. But I know for a fact that I didn’t put my name in the Goblet of Fire.” he told me, “I believe you. I think you’d have been mental if you were planning on it to begin with. But now that it’s happened, there’s nothing you can do to reverse what happened.” I told him and he sighed a little, “I figured as much. I’m just glad someone believes me, I doubt Ron feels the same way though.” he told me and I sighed a little, “he may be upset and push himself away for awhile but he will come to his senses eventually. Just give it time alright.” I told him and he nodded and the both of us continued to talk for a while longer about everything that has happened before we had gone to our Dorms for the night and once I made it to mine, I had gotten changed before Hermione had spoken up, “what were you and Harry talking about?” she asked me and I sighed, “we were talking about what happened, he told me that he didn’t put his name in the Goblet of Fire.” I told her, “Do you believe him?” she asked me and I thought about it for a moment before speaking up, “yeah, I believe him. He may have done some reckless things in the passed but that doesn’t mean he’s dumb enough to do someting like this. From what I’ve read, only a handful of people have died in this Tournament since it started.” I told her, “good point. To be honest, I just don’t know what to think of it but I agree with you though.” she told me and after talking for a little while longer, the both of us had finally decided to get some sleep that night.
