Kai's POV:

"Sky! This movie is scary! Why did you pick a scary movie? I thought we were going to watcha  kid-friendly Halloween movie," I hugged Skylor and huddled next to her, burying my face in her shoulder here and there. "Kai, you've got to learn how to take scary things, besides it's fun seeing you scream," She rubbed my hair with her fingers softly and chuckled.

"All I want now is popcorn," I muttered under my breath Skylor laughed a little and passed the Popcorn bowl over to me "Here," I took the popcorn bowl and ate the popcorn slowly.

"AAAH! WHAT IS THAT!" I screamed and then hugged Skylor and shut my eyes. Skylor started to laugh loudly until she ran out of breath. "Why do you think it's funny when I scream, it's not," I huffed and folded my arms "Because you're usually confident in everything not screaming like a child," She put a hand over her mouth to help keep herself from laughing anymore.

Skylor's POV:

Kai had fallen asleep on me under the blanket, to keep himself from screaming anymore. Which was relieving but also disappointing that I couldn't see him act like a child anymore. I lifted up the blanket and saw Kai sleeping peacefully, I put my arm around his shoulder and rested my head on his. My eyes started to feel heavy and then I finally closed them.
