I've only seen clips of 6x02. One of them was when they were in bed and Carina pulls away and Maya looks at her running shoes. This follows on from that....

Now for the story...
Maya sighs as she sits up and looks toward where she left her running shoes from when she came in from work.
She then glances at the bathroom door knowing her wife doesn't want to see her never mind talk to her.
Getting out of her bed she puts on some sport legging and a T-shirt as it's still the middle of the night. She grabs her shoes making her way out of the apartment.
Before Maya would always shout I love you but the last time she heard those words from her wife was in the shower at the station a couple of days ago for insemination number 6. The fifth one from the sperm bank, sixth overall.
Not knowing what route to take or where to go, she doesn't feel like going in the direction of the park and she definitely doesn't want to head to the station, so she decides to go to the trail in the woods.
Carina heard movement in the room hoping her wife leaves her alone and doesn't try to come into the bathroom as she's not ready to face her just yet. A sigh of relief comes out as she hears the blonde in the kitchen thinking maybe she needed a drink. That was until she heard the door open and shut.
Confused the Italian opens the bathroom door a lot calmer than she did when she closed it. She glances at the time seeing it was just after 4 in the morning. She knew the both of them hadn't slept all night both just lying there and the last couple of nights were pretty much the same they had barely slept and if they did it wasn't a restful sleep.
Not realising how long she had lay there inside her head with all the thoughts until Mayas alarm went. It was her 6 o'clock alarm 2 hours since Maya had left. Normally she would be back by now but no maybe she just headed straight to the station from her run. Or maybe that's where she went to work out. She's noticed Maya working out more and even though she's angry with her wife she's worried. She can see Maya losing weight, in her face, round her waist and her thighs.
Sighing knowing she has a morning shift at the hospital then a shift at the clinic since it's clinic day she wills herself to get up and get ready.
Her morning at the hospital was text book busy. She had a c-section planned and delivered a healthy baby boy and from another mother who was visiting Seattle a healthy baby girl along with her usual consultations and her patients she had admitted day's prior.
She was so busy she didn't have time to check her phone she has a missed call from Ben and Andy and a text from Vic. The text message was the firefighter asking how her morning had been and if she was still working at the clinic this afternoon. Carina thought nothing of it as they have waited on her before and when she turned up late she said it was because a baby was being stubborn and refused to to born which earned a laugh from 19 and a couple of patients in hearing distance.
She figured the call from Ben was the same and the call from Andy was a check in as she's knows the Deluca-Bishops aren't on good terms as of late.
Meanwhile at the station they were worried Maya hadn't shown up for her shift yet and it was already nearing lunch.
Maya never missed a shift, more so now with Becket breathing down her neck. She has even been picking up more shifts.
During line up this morning, Becket was giving chores out not bothering to look up as he read off the paper in his hand he order bishop to clean the bathrooms. When he didn't hear a 'Yes Captain' back he shouted "BISHOP"
