Huskies, Great Pyrenees, Sled Dogs
Love snow and ice and cold
Great Danes, Pitbulls, Dobermans, Bulldogs
Will protect you and your home with tooth and claw
Chihuahuas, Dachshunds, Terriers, Shi Tzus
Not-Dogs curl up in laps and lick faces
Brittanies, Spaniels, Pointers
Will help hunt birds and rabbits
Everyone has that
Special thing in their life.
For some people, it's a dog.
While droolly, they wag tails to happy hearts.
That special dog,
Whoever it may be,
Is out there,
Somewhere.
It may walk up to you,
It may poop on your shoe.
It can and will capture you
In its doggy heart.
Wherever it may go,
However far away they are,
A dog will always be there for you.
