Chapter 50

We grabbed the smoke bombs and threw them out the door. Dad and I quickly took out the guards.

We were quickly in a standoff and I kept watch behind us, just in case. I heard dad scream to get cover and ran after Maggie. They started talking and shots hit the wall beside us.

I quickly moved and shot the person that shot us, me and Reneè. They were moving in on us. We need to leave now!

Me and Daryl went in to do some cover fire. They threw the smoke bombs and we went out and we started shooting.

We shot at them and they shot back. I dove to the ground in attempt to dodge a shot and it worked.
I continued to shoot from the ground as I saw people moving towards me.

I heard Maggie scream for Dad and I saw him run over. I started to go over but I tripped. The smoke was starting to clear and I saw that someone had Daryl and smashed him in the face with the butt of his gun.

I turned just in time to see my best friend shot.

"RENEÈ!" I cried running up to her. But I felt a hand clasp over my mouth.

Then it all went black.
