The plan was that you were going to use your parents' power to win over Zoro's dad while you would flatter his mom. However, as you stood next to him waiting, your knees were locking up. He didn't tell you how you were supposed to dress, but you expected it to be similar to what you wore for your parents. However, when you had first gotten dressed, he told you it wasn't necessary and told you to be comfortable. You were nervous about the fact that your first impression would be a lazy one from the casual clothing.

"They will literally give less than two shits about how you're dressed, Reader," Zoro reminds you for the fifth time in ten minutes. You groan and adjust your shirt again, hoping the wrinkles weren't too obvious since you didn't plan on wearing your blouse today.

"This just feels wrong since you said your parents have high expectations."

"They do, but they also are realistic and know you don't dress for a business every day." He laughs lowly at your frown. "I promise, you'll be fine." You sighed and looked at the way Zoro had dressed. He was in a plain black tee, dark grey pants, and a brown belt hiding under the hem of the shirt. He wore converse and his hair was disheveled.

"Did you even brush your hair?" You question, running a hand atop the green mess to adjust it. Zoro grabs your wrist, looking you straight in the eyes as he held it.

"Reader." You swallowed thickly at the stern tone. "Trust me." You sighed as he released your wrist, nodding.

"Okay, okay..." You trail when a car pulls into the driveway. "Besides, if I can't look nice at least my house does."

"Yeah, you've been cleaning it nonstop for the past two days," He mutters, walking up to the stopped black vehicle. When his parents step out, you immediately feel relief at their clothing choice. His mother wore a sundress that reached her knees along with a light white shawl and matching sun hat. His father was dressed similarly to Zoro, but his shirt was a baseball-tee style. While his mom's hair was neatly groomed and pulled to the side, his father's had been scruffy and unbrushed just like his son's.

"Zoro!" His mother yells, running to him and hugging his waist. "I've missed you!" Zoro chuckles and returns the gesture tightly.

"I've missed you, too, Mom." The woman pulls back to allow his father to hug him as well. Zoro motions for you to come closer, smiling as he does. You oblige, coming up with an awkward walk as you didn't know how to present yourself.

"Hi, I'm Reader _____." The two parents exchange a look of seriousness and you feel dread hit you. Zoro arches an eyebrow and glances at your worried expression.

"Everything okay?" He questions his parents. They slowly look at him before his father clears his throat.

"You didn't say you were dating the Opendium Auto CEO's daughter."

"I didn't think I had to mention it," Zoro replies with slight defensiveness. "Is that a problem?"

"No, dear," His mother quickly interjects. "I just think we should talk about this inside." You bit your lip to stop it was quivering as you fidget with your hands. Zoro looked apologetically at you, knowing you were already uncomfortable in the first place, but now there's some kind of issue about you and your family. You led everyone inside before shutting the door and taking a seat next to Zoro on the opposite couch of his parents.

"So what's up?" He quickly asks, trying to cut to the chase.

"We are just a little shocked that you guys are even together," Ryuma responds. "Especially since we just spoke to your parents about your marriage." Your eyes widened as soon as the words left his mouth.

"You did... what?"

"Were you unaware of your arranged marriage to Sabo Newgate?"

"No, I was, but I thought it was canceled when they came to meet Zoro." Your heart pounded in your chest heavily. Was all of this for nothing? Were they still going to marry you off to the lawyer?
