A/N: I drew Ace for this chapter!

Vivi was an amazing person from what you could tell. You couldn't even nitpick anything wrong with her when you tried. She was kind, caring, funny, and honest with every answer she gave.

"Your father said he will pay for all medical expenses," She tells Zoro as she wheels him out of the hospital with you carrying his stuff in tow. "Karo and I will be driving you home-" She pauses to look at you. "He does live with you right?" You took an extra second to nod, caught off guard by the question.

"Yeah."

"Great! Then this makes my life a lot easier!" Once again, her cheery mood read no ill intent. You nearly frowned at the fact. You wanted to hate her for the sole reason of how Zoro looked at her, even if you couldn't find a reason. Your guilt overpowered you and you found yourself enjoying her too much.

"So how long have you known Zoro?" You ask to try and pry.

"Ah, it's been about ten years since I first met him," She admits. "My mother is his mother's best friend. We have grown up together since we were what, twelve?" She looks at Zoro for confirmation. He just nods once and she smiles back at you. "He's an asshole sometimes, but it seems you're handling him well!"

"He has been a bit spoiled every now and then," You joke. Zoro scrunched up his nose in disagreement when the both of you laughed lightly at him. A black SUV pulled up as soon as you exited the front doors of the hospital, stopping right in front of you all.

"This is Karo," Vivi explains when a tall man with a leather coat and side bag steps out. He was dressed quite casually for such a formal business vehicle.

"Reader," You introduce. "Thank you for driving him."

"Are you not coming?" Vivi asks with a small pout. "I wanted to get to know you a bit! Nami has talked about you to me before, but it was very little since we were busy."

"Ah, well, you're more than welcome to snag my number," You offer for some odd reason. Something about this woman made you feel like you could just talk forever with her.

"That would be amazing! We could plan a small date, yeah?"

"Sure." Within seconds you were exchanging phones and entering your own contact information. She smiled wide and leaned over in a small bow.

"Thank you so much for allowing us to take him home for you, Reader."

"O-of course." You weren't expecting her to bow in thanks to you, but you didn't mind it. "I'll see you all there then?" They wave you off when Zoro is in the SUV, but he looks like he hates his life when the door shuts. You couldn't help but feel worried about him, but as soon as Vivi sat in the front seat instead of the back with him, your heart settled more. You quickly rushed to your vehicle, throwing Zoro's belongings into the backseat before sliding into the driver's side.

"I hate that I like her," You mutter to your steering wheel. "Why did he look at her like that?" You felt your heart clenching tightly in your chest and tried to grab at it to stop the pain. When it finally subsided tears were pricking the corners of your eyes. You took deep breaths to focus on your driving, but the vision quickly turned clouded. Your home was coming into view, but you couldn't stop the tears now. It felt like you were panicking for no reason and that made you mad at yourself.

"This is stupid," You groan. "Why am I even crying?" You frown at yourself in the rearview mirror when your vehicle halts in your usual parking spot. "You look stupid. Stop crying." You knew it wasn't healthy to degrade your own emotions like this, but you really saw no reason for crying at this moment. You angrily wiped the tears you cried away and slapped your cheeks to snap out of this feeling. You stepped out of the vehicle, went to the front door, and unlocked it. You made sure to clear a path to Zoro's room so that he didn't get blindsided by the environment. The thought made you thankful that you decided to not get a pet last month that could get in the way.
