You sat in the waiting room, thinking about your day yesterday. It started basically the same as every other day, but around one in the afternoon, you felt sick and had a massive headache. You had just gotten off the phone with Zoro for the second time today when you had to get ready for work. You had gone to work for nearly an hour before Killer and Kong forced you to go home and see a doctor. Finally, you heard the words Law Trafalgar told you alone in that cold room.

"You are pregnant, Reader." You started to laugh, finding the situation scarily funny.

"Nice jokes, Dr. Trafalgar, but it's impossible. My eggs are fried."

"Improbable, but not impossible," He replies quietly. "While it is a one percent chance of happening, you can still get pregnant, Reader." You watched him, your heart in your stomach and arms buckling to where you let them fall from being folded on your chest.

"A-are you sure?" Your voice shook. "Am I really?" Were you excited? If you were, it was fully blocked by your fear.

"We will call you in for an ultrasound tomorrow so we can rough estimate dates and whatnot. Right now, our tech is done for the night and won't be back until eight in the morning. She should be able to get you in at ten." Law continued to talk, but your pulse was beginning to drown him out.

"What am I gonna do?" You whispered, unintentionally cutting off his words. "Zoro won't want to be a dad. I told him it was fine and I couldn't get pregnant. I've been fine for years without getting pregnant! Why now? Why when I'm with him?" Your voice strained and heavy sobs began to wrack your body viciously.

"Reader," Law calls. "You need to calm down and breathe, okay?"

"I'm gonna have to ab-"

"Wait." His calm demeanor changed to a stern one. "Wait until tomorrow when we do the ultrasound. I don't want you to say something you'll regret." You knew he had a fair point. You were just terrified of the outcome.

"Okay," You whimper. "I'll come back tomorrow, then."

Now, here you were, waiting in the room that you first waited in to be called back and find out the life-altering news. You bit at your already short thumbnail. If you are a hundred percent pregnant, maybe it won't be a healthy one and you'll not have to worry about it. The thought made your heart hurt. You did want kids, you weren't going to lie, but you didn't think Zoro would nor would he stick around when he found out.

"Reader," A woman calls with a soft smile when you make eye contact. She was elderly and very skinny. She seemed like she could be a witch doctor if given enough power.

"Hello," You greet with a nervous sweat.

"I'm Dr. Kureha," She replies as she leads you towards the dark room ultrasounds were done in. Every step you took made your knees hurt and feel like buckling. "I'm the top tech here, so you're in good hands. My accuracy is one hundred percent." You nod in understanding, hoping she's wrong for once in her life if she says you are, indeed, pregnant. She began to explain the steps of finding out if you're pregnant, how the ultrasound works, and what to do if you can't see or hear anything.

"Now, I ask all the new moms this," She clears her throat. "What are we doing if we find out that you are pregnant for sure?" The question gave you a sort of comfort.

"Honestly, I don't know." You frowned at your answer. "I don't think I'd have the heart to not carry it, but I also don't know if the father would want to be a part of it." She nods in understanding and sighed lightly.

"Well, if you decide not to carry a child, don't ever think we here at the clinic will judge you. Law will personally carry out the surgery if need be. However, if you want to carry the child but not keep it, we are, as of last month, a safe surrender site. No questions asked." The comfort in your heart grew as she gently explained your options. She smiled softly at the end and looked at you with a calm expression. "Now, should we see the truth?" You immediately nodded, still unsure if anything is real right now.
