Once you begin dating someone, they quickly become someone you feel you can't live without them. This was the case between Jasper and Harley. The two became inseparable, not as in your face as Bella and Edward were, nothing but love for those guys but you know, in spite of that the two weren't apart from one another for more than a day. Harley still lived at home with her pet cat Nala. Jasper stayed between his house and Harleys house, whilst he wanted nothing more that the pair to live together he couldn't help but feel guilty about leaving his family.
They both spent a significant amount of time together, Harley was more or less the newest member of the Olympic Coven. Although she'd not be officially asked to join, Carlisle and Esme treated her as though she was part of the coven nonetheless. Harley couldn't maintain a permanent residency at the Cullens house purely because she owned Nala and she wasn't prepared to give her best friend up.
The pair plus Nala had spent the entire summer together, basking in each other's company. School rapidly rolled around once again, sending the pair into their last school year, before they both graduate for the millionth time. August quickly become September and September quickly become where they were now, October. October was a favourite of Harleys, because not only had autumn started but Halloween was right round the corner, definitely Harley's favourite holiday. Though she'd never truly celebrated it she loved all the decorations, the colours, everything about spooky season she couldn't get enough of.
As the months flew by Harley felt herself falling more and more in love with Jasper as each day went by. And he was feeling the exact same way about her. She had her moments where she felt a bit insecure, Jasper did everything in her power to make her the happiest person in the world but sometimes she had her bad days, which only motivated Jasper further to make her feel even more special and loved that she already did, even when she's being hard on herself, we all need a bit of extra loving sometimes.
Jasper knew Halloween was Harleys favourite holiday and he also knew she'd never celebrated it officially before and although her couldn't plan a massive Halloween party for her, he chose the next best thing. With that being said, he had planned for them to drive around Forks to see all the spooky decorations. He wanted nothing more to see a smile on her face.
"Jasper where are you taking me" I laughed as he took my hand and led me blindly to the car before helping me in and the making his way around the other side. He took my blindfold off. "Okay what are we in your car?" I asked curiously. "I figured seeing as you've never actually celebrated Halloween, we could drive around and see all the Halloween decorations. I know you've been a little down lately so I just wanted to do something to make you happy again" he suggested. My demeanour instantly changed from Neutral to full blown smile. And that's exactly what we did, we drove around for hours looking out for the residents' Halloween decorations! It was the best day of Harley life so far and she thought there wasn't much more that could be done to make this day even better. Or but she was wrong.
The car came to a stop and the pair were back outside Harley's home. They stayed in the car in complete silence just enjoying one another's company before Jasper broke the silence.
"Harley" he suddenly said, taking an unneeded breath before continuing. "Ever since you walked into my life, then out and then back into my life a mere 8 months ago, I knew you'd be someone very special in my life. I wasn't actively looking for someone to share these moments with but you know what they say, the best things come when you're least expecting it. I didn't expect you to waltz into my life and make as big of an impact as you did but I'm so incredibly glad things panned out they way they did. And I just needed to tell you that I'm falling completely and utterly in love with you more and more with each second we spend together, and I couldn't imagine my life without Harley Reeves in it"
Now that was unexpected. I was speechless.
"We'll Jasper I can safely say that I've fallen so deeply in love with you" I spoke admitting my truly feelings.
Although our feelings had been there for months we had finally admitted to one another how we truly feel. I think it's safe to say that we well and truly fell in love in October, and it couldn't have been more perfect.
