Todoroki-
Two weeks had passed since the camp and my first fight with Dabi. I was in the hospital bed, finally waking up after being out the entire week. Sero and Kirishima were both waiting on me, wrapped from head to toe. Guess they got into it with a villain too. "You're both here? I dunno whether to be worried or happy." I said, weakly.
"It's the first one." Kirishima said.
My face fell. "What?" I asked.
"Todoroki, after you collapsed, they did a headcount. Obviously you know Bakugo is gone." Kirishima said, and my face fell as I looked down and away from him.
"But there's someone else who didn't show for roll call." Sero said.
"Who?" I asked.
They both exchanged a nervous look. "It's Jade, Shoto. Jade never showed for roll call." Sero said, and my face dropped so far.
"Shoto wait—" Kirishima began, but I threw my blankets off and ran outside to the hospital.
"Where is she!? WHERE!!!!" I shouted, everyone looking directly at me, and the pain washed over me.
"Son!" Dad shouted, as he ran over and caught me.
"Dad where is she?" I asked.
"She's gone, son. We're looking everywhere for both Jade and Bakugo. Please go get some rest." Dad said.
"It's not fair..." I began, shaking. "Dad it's not fair." I said, tears beginning to fall down my cheek.
Dad held me against him. "I know son." Dad whispered, and I gripped his shirt, hitting my knees and he kneeled down with me.
"I'm so sorry Shoto." Dad said, and I cried into his chest silently.
I hadn't done that since I was a kid. Dad took me back to the hospital room and TC came and took care of me. I looked out the window as it began to rain, and I clenched my fist.
Kirishima and Sero were still in there with me, the three of us were quiet...that rarely happened. "Todo...the heroes are gonna find them, they're gonna save them." Kirishima said.
"Then why do I feel like this? This sinking feeling in my chest, that only I can save them." I whispered.
"Shoto, you don't have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders alone. Let us bare some of the weight. It's not up to you to save everybody." Sero said, gripping my shoulder.
I nodded. "Guys!" Midoriya shouted, and we all turned to him.
"Yeah?" Kirishima asked, standing, his wrapped arms folded over his wrapped chest.
"We can find them! Momo just woke up! She said she put a tracker on two of the villains!! There's still hope!" Midoriya exclaimed.
  "That's great!" Kirishima exclaimed.
"We can save them..." I began.
"I say we take it. The heroes are gonna walk into a fight, we have to go so we can focus on saving our friends!" Sero exclaimed.
  "I'm in!" Kirishima exclaimed.
"Me too." Sero said, standing up.
"We can..." I began, and I clenched my fist. "I'm in." I said.
"Ah! Todoroki! But, you're still..." Midoriya began.
"A hero does what's necessary, and reaps the consequences. It doesn't matter if I'm already hurt, that's my rival and my friend, and the girl I love that they took from us. I don't care, I'm going." I said.
  "Yeah!" Kirishima exclaimed.
"We should leave now." I said.
Midoriya nodded and we went to Momo's room. "Todoroki, you're going after them right?" Momo asked.
"Yeah." I said, sitting on her bed.
"Then I'm coming too, the only reason Jade got taken is cause she was trying to save us. I want to save her!" Momo exclaimed.
I smiled. "Yeah, sounds good." I said, softly as we all got changed and walked out.
"Please wait..." Tsuyu started, and we turned to her.
"Don't go, we can leave this to the pros. I don't want to lose any more of my friends." Tsuyu said.
"I'm sorry Tsu, but this has to be done. If we don't go, they won't have a chance in hell. The heroes are gonna be too focused on fighting the villains. We have to make sure we can get our friends out." I said.
"Just be safe." Tsu said, and I nodded hugging her, and she went inside.
We were about to head out, and then Iida came. "And just where do you think you're all going?" Iida asked.
"We're going to find Bakugo and Jade!" Midoriya exclaimed.
"No! This is a hero's job! We're high schoolers, we don't even have our hero licenses! You can't leave, I won't let you!" Iida shouted.
"It's not a debate Iida, we're going." Midoriya said.
He rushed over to Midoriya and I stepped in between him, gripping his arm with his hand balled up in a fist and his glasses hit the ground. They all just looked at me. I stared down at him with ice cold eyes of fierce determination and hatred. "You have a problem with it, that's fine Iida. You don't have to get involved. But you don't have the right to hit Midoriya when he's still injured from his fight with Muscular. Now you can either get out of our way, or I'll make you move. You hear me?" I asked, coldly, calmly.
  "T-Todoroki!" Midoriya exclaimed.
Sero and Kirishima stood beside me. They were both standing sideways, Kirishima with his arms folded over his chest and a dark look on his face, and Sero with his hands in his pockets and a stone cold killer's look.
"Kirishima and Sero too!" Momo exclaimed.
"You're serious about this?" Iida asked.
  "I'm always serious." I said.
"Very well, Todoroki. But answer me this, are you going to fight the villains? They aren't going to just give you Bakugo and Jade." Iida said.
"If I have to plow down every villain in my path to save them, yes. I'll fight them 100% and I will win." I said.
  "Todoroki..." Midoriya began.
"Wait!! Maybe we can save them without fighting the villains!" Momo exclaimed.
  "Hmm?" We all asked.
"We have a few long ranged fighters with us, Todoroki, Sero, and myself. We can utilize that, we just have to come up with a plan when we get there." Momo said.
We all nodded. "I'm coming too." Iida said, picking up his glasses and cleaning them. "If you so much as attack Todoroki, I'll have no choice but to call it off." Iida said.
"You do what you want, I'll do what I want...I don't care if I have to cut you down." I said, and they all looked at me as I headed the back and we followed the tracker to Camino.
