Fira's P.O.V.

I sat in the dining hall, eating breakfast. I glanced over at Peter who was at the other side of the table happily munching on a price of rabbit. I sat there studying him. He had longish messy dark brown hair that almost fethered around his face, and his green eyes practicly glowed in the light. I had not yet gotten used to the idea of someone from another world, especially since he seemed so different, it was creepy like. He seemed to be like an alien at first, or a god. I laughed silently to myself at that one. No, he did not act like a god. Alien, maybe, but there was something about him. Like a secret, hidden, but trying to escape. Something I couldn't quite understand myself. He was so mysterious. So different. I tried not to stare much but I wanted so bad to know what it was about him that was so different.
I looked away long enough to grab a piece of bread, but then he suddenly asked, "What are we going to do today?" It almost seemed like he was getting to used to is place already. As if he thought he was never going to get home, or as if he didn't want to. I glared. "Your going to go home today." I said, then realized I sounded a little harsh. Like I wanted him to leave. Which was actually true. I licked rabbit meat juices off my fingers before saying, " We could explore the forest." I watched as Peters eyes brightened. "OK." He said, leaning back in his chair, obviously stuffed. "Be careful, you two, the forest his very dangerous." Father said, making Peter jump out of his skin. "Don't worry, dad, I'll watch this wee lammy." I said with a smirk. Peter glared at me though I ignored him. Nothing could be better than making Peter mad.
After breakfast, Fira and Peter headed to the woods together. Fira stopped by her hut to grab a sword. "What's that for?" Peter asked, not knowing how dumb he sounded to Fira. Fira stared at Peter for a moment, thinking, "What king of boy is he? He's so mysterious. Fira then smirked. "There is a giant troll in the forest and I'm planning to cut his guts out to eat." She joked. "Ugg!" Peter cringed. He believed. "I'm joking ya idiot, its for safety purposes. Ya heard what my Father said, didn't you?"
"Oh." Peter said, a bit relieved.
"Don't you know anything?"
"Yea."
"No you don't."
"Yea I do!"
"Shut up."
"Whatever."
"What are we going to do in the woods."
"Hunt, explore..."
"YOU HUNT?!?!?"
"Of course, stupid!"
"Sorry, its just not usual when a girl wants to hunt."
"Well than in your world, the girls are wimpy babies that don't know how to survive. I'll bet there aren't very may anymore."
"Why would you say that?"
"Well if they are that wimpy, they can't protect themselves and their population will decrease."
"You sound like my Science teacher."
"Ha."
"Well, I think girls that like to hunt and stuff are more fun."
Peter turned red after saying that.
"You think I'm fun?" Fira laughed
"Um- well- I uh, I mean-"
"Ha ha never mind." Fira smirked.
The two headed into the woods. The sun shown through the tops of the trees creating a beautiful golden glow in the woods. They were heading up a hill now, maybe a mountain, and it was very steep. Peter slipped. "Aaa" he shouted, as he tumbled down. He grabbed onto a rock siticking out the side of the hill. Fira laughed.
"Stop laughing." Peter glared.
"You look so funny!"
"I don't ever do things like this. Your used to this."
"Hahahahahaha!!!!"
"I'm serious. Stop laughing."
"I-(hiccup) -can't!"
Peter sighed.
"If your going to do anything, give me a little help."
"What if I say no?"
"Then your going to go to jail for murder."
"Fine. I will help. Ya know your really useless."
"Yea. Sure. Thanks."
"No problem." Fira smirked as she pulled him to his feet.
"Ha, ha very funny." Peter said sarcastically. He brushed his pants off before the two continued into the woods.
Not to long after, they had gone along way, and Peter stopped to take a break. As he sat in a log, Fira stood looking into the woods intently. "What's the matter?" Peter asked. Fira held up a hand signalling Peter to be quiet. Silence was deafaning. Just then Peter heard a panther scream. Out of the treen, came a huge black panther. Its yellow eyes burnt wholes through Peter. The two stared back at each other. Peter was frozen to the ground. The panther sprang forwards and screamed again.
