Fira looked around nervously hoping to spot Peter but in her mind, she knew he wasn't near by.
She called for him as loud as she could. "What am I going to do!? " She thought. "I can't go out into the woods without my sword! "
Just then she remembered that she had her bow with her. She sighed with relief. Even though it was not the best weapon she could have, it was all she had. Fira sighed in part annoyance, part fear, and part relief.
She began to go through the forest, praying she'd find Peter soon. And find him alive. Yes that would be a help. The thought of finding Peter dead made Fira almost cry, though she didn't know quite why. She cringed at the thought and began to run forward desperately.

I looked around suddenly, I still don't remember why, but it was then I realized I was alone. I gasp caught in my throat. How long had I been alone? Where Was Fira?
I desperately looked around hoping it was just my imagination, and Fira would be marching along beside me. But she wasn't there. I then realized I had her sword. I turned pale. "Dear Lord! " I thought. Frightened, I only could picture Fira, weaponless, running from a bear.
I shook these thoughts out of my head. I had to find Fira quickly.
I ran.
Running in a random direction wouldn't help, but I knew if I ran back from he direction I came, I might end up somewhere.
I screamed Fira's name but I got no response.
********
Fira and Peter both thought suddenly. They both realized how much they really loved each other.
********
Fira ran desperately, calling Peter's name. "He has to be somewhere! "
It was then that she heard him. She heard him calling her name. She sighed with relief and followed the sound of his voice.
Just then she saw him a few hundred feet away, running towards her.
They nearly reached each other, when a huge beast, a great monster came lunging out of the woods to Peters left, and stood on it's hind legs, roaring ferociously. Fira gasped. The monster was a greenish grey color with short but strong legs. Two twisted horns were on either side of it's huge head. It had fangs and it's teeth were a golden color. The monster's red eyes glared down, moved and crackled like a smoldering fire. Burning a gaze through Fira it dropped down to all fours and began slowly shuffling towards Fira. "The Great Tarkic Beast. " Fira breathed.
"Fira! " Peter screamed. The monster lunged.
Yelling, Peter ran forwards, though he stopped. What could he do? He was too scared. He wasn't brave like everyone else. Suddenly memories flashed in his mind. His Mom. He could see her clearly. Her smile. He could feel her hug. Then he saw the truck speeding down the road. He saw the collision. He felt the sharp tug on his seatbelt. He heard the clash of breaking glass. He remembered wanting to do something. He couldnt move. He saw the blood. Felt the car flip more times than he could count. His mom. Eyes closed. Blood all over her face and arms. Dripping down her neck. He saw his dad, dislocated shoulder, blood on his face. He felt the grip of his dads strong arms pulling him out. He heard the screams. Screams that were him. Now the screams were coming from Fira.
Peter knew he had to do something. He couldn't stand and just watch someone else die. Someone he cared about. Peter screamed again. He jumped forwards and ran. Faster than ever before. A little gust of power seemed to come into him, and his heart beat faster. He felt like he could do anything. Angrily he leaped into the air, pulling his sword out of his scabbard. His sword in one hand, and Fira's in the other. Lifting them up, he began to come down. Faster. He saw Fira pulling an arrow back. He came down on the beasts neck, swords slicing near the collar bone. Blood was splattered everywhere. A roar escaped the beasts mouth before it collapsed with one last breath. Fira, shocked, looked at Peter. Peter, was just as surprised as she was. He jumped down, dropping the swords and embraced Fira. He hugged her tightly.
"Ach Peter-" Fira said, with her voice muffled by Peters shirt. "T-too-too tight! I can't breath! " Peter let go, and blushed. Fira smiled. "You did it! " Peter smiled back. "I did. "
