"WAKE UP!"
Young Wu yelped as he fell out of his bed due to the sound loud as a bomb going off. He'd been sleeping peacefully just a few seconds ago and now his ears were hurting from the loud noise. He groaned and slowly opened his eyes. He had to squint them as the light felt blinding, but even so he could make out the figure of his brother. Oh no...
"Get up! It's a new day and a new day is always a new opportunity to do crazy stuff!" Garmadon exclaimed.
Wu sighed and eyed his brother. "I stayed up really late, Garm. I really needed to sleep late."
"Too bad, little bro."
Wu rolled his eyes. "May I remind you I'm exactly 30 minutes younger than you?"
"Best 30 minutes of my life," Garmadon snickered.
Wu let out a sigh and got to making his bed. He could hear his brother impatiently tapping his foot on the marble floor. Oh how impatient his brother was. He was always this way.
"Patience, Garmy," Wu told the brunet.
"Hurry! Wake up early and tackle someone before the day tackles you!" Garmadon quoted.
"That's not even how it goes. It goes; tackle the day before it tackles you," Wu corrected.
"I like mine better," the brunet shrugged.
Wu rolled his eyes and went over to his closet. He pulled out his favorite clothes and then gave his brother a glance as a signal. Garmadon raised an eyebrow in confusion. Wu sighed.
"I'm gonna change my clothes, so get out."
"Oh, sure," Garmadon realized and quickly left the room, slamming the door shut behind him.
Wu changed his clothes as quickly as possible due to still being able to hear his brother's impatient actions. He knew that when Garmadon got impatient, he did stuff that didn't end well. Last time he'd accidentally destroyed the staircase with his powers.
As Wu had finished changing into his beige shirt, light brown pants and light yellow ruana, he called out to his brother. Much to Wu's shock, the door was blasted in with a loud explosion and a purple flash. Behind the door stood the just as shocked Garmadon, who covered his mouth in his hands.
"Whoops..." He muttered.
Wu was about to say something when their father appeared behind the Master of Destruction.
"Oh Garmadon..." The First Spinjitzu Master sighed.
"Uh... sorry."
"Try not to blast any more doors, Garm," Wu instructed.
"Oh yeah, sure, because I'm definitely able to just decide not to destroy anything with my element of destruction," Garmadon scowled.
"Fair enough."
The brothers exited the casita. The sun was shining brightly in the joyfully blue, cloudless sky. It was a hot day indeed, but nothing new for the brothers. Their plans for today consisted of helping the town with whatever and then having some fun.
Though, it soon occurred to the brothers that Wu had a lot more to do than Garmadon. The young Master of Destruction actually had only one wall to break and that was about it. Wu had a lot of fixing to do and creating things, which seemed to be taking forever.
